Apparently Conficker was generally a hoax. It did modify itself and it behavior, but you have to already have the virus on your PC before it can do anything.

Today is April Fools day! BEWARE OF SCAMS. :twisted:

Hey, everyone . . . My dad just had a stroke. They say he's looking pretty bad and they won't let me and my brothers go see him, but I just wanted to let you guys know in case I'm gone for awhile. The Atlas is pretty much like my home away from home away from home, and I love you guys. I'll see you later.

Ooh, that doesn't sound good. But don't lose hope, my Grandma recently had a stroke. It wasn't looking too good for her either but she bounced back. I hope he gets better.

Kiddy does. Because he's awesome.

Anyway, Dad's home now, but he's still pretty weak. The doctors at our local hospital said that he did have a stroke, and they gave him some blood thinners and sent him up to a more sophisticated facility. Here, they said they couldn't find any traces of a stroke, and deduced that he had a "berserk migraine attack". He's using a cane to walk, but I think he's going to be okay.

I was in NYC for a week but my hotel blocked the internet connection. I can see that the forum has been very active (it's gonna take me a long time to finish reading all of these posts) and it's really good to have an internet connection that doesn't cost 15 bucks.

Oh, and I finally got my hands on a DSi (and on the midnight launch on Nintendo World) and it's pretty cool, but it's just a DS with two cameras, a music player and downloadable stuff.

It's nice, I guess. The internet browser (which I'm using right now) is actually very decent, and I'd say that the keyboard is actually better than the iPhone's. It does have its flaws: it can't display pages with too much stuff on them (Facebook) and it can't display flash content.

The only game I've downloaded so far is WarioWare: Snapped, which is EXTREMELY short (the whole game IS a minigame), it easily loses its replay value, and you need perfect lightning (which loses the point of being portable). I guess I'll wait for more games to come, since there's only like 6 games out.

Luckily, I received 1000 free points with it so it doesn't really matter much which games I buy.

So far, it's in last place. But I had a tough time casting my vote; it's paired with Super Mario RPG (which is one of my favorite games of all time). GameFAQs is EVIL! :evil:

I just noticed that in the user profiles that Qyz spelled "favorite" as "favourite". Darn you, English language!

So anyway, today I got back from a youth retreat to Panama City Beach, Florida. It was really nice, but the beach patrol wouldn't let us get in the water because there was a DANGEROUS UNDERCURRENT. His megaphone was loud. I also saw a guy refilling a Pepsi machine, out-jumped the college kids at an Ohio Avenue concert, and hit it off with some of the local ladies. All in all I'd say it was a good trip.

For some reason I got this for a few minutes, only for Atlas. I've been playing Wii games and just stopped/got on to check atlas when this happened:

The semi-formal is coming up at my school soon, and for some odd reason, I have a Hannah Montana wig. My cousin and I always do really weird things at my school to make people laugh. Example:

Man, I really wish that Nintendo E3 conference would start... I have triple free tomorrow morning so I could even do the super cool thing and wait up for it to start/finish. I did that last year and was horribly let down, but if I saw new Zelda, it'd be worth it.

I only got the DSi for three reasons:

1) My four year-old DS was in bad shape and was extremely clunky and its limited availability of replacement styluses.

2) I just happened to be in New York at the time it launched.

3) Camera, music player, internet, DSiWare, and plays games? Forget the GBA slot!

Yeah, I guess it's not a bad upgrade.
