I've recently downloaded another VBA version, somehow it works perfectly fine.
At least with F-Zero Maximum Velocity.
Now I think I have done some faulty setting in the old one, or that it wasn't good to start it from an external device (USB flash drive f.e.)
It's about time testing more games ;)

At first glance, it looks like individualy positioned baddies are a bit more friendly to low perfomance systems like Netbooks.
Usually, it felt like the animations were slower and stuttering in the old format.

I think they are both fun to play, but its true that Blast Corps is more fun to complete. Completing Goldeneye and unlocking all cheats felt less like having fun with the game, but rather torturing myself. 8-)

The same on my side, I've got lots of platinums, but eventually I had to give up. The last 1/3 was just too hard...
And by the way: Someone who can complete Blast Corps should easily get all cheats on Goldeneye ;)

You forgot to check ebay.de ... EBAY LINK 30 € for the players guide is ridiculous high. If I remember correctly, it was around 12.5 € when I had bought it 1995/1996 from a local videogame store. The ebay seller even claims " Without this players guide one can barely beat the game!" :roll:

I think the GG was similar to the PAR, but if I remember correctly, the codes were different.
Maybe some of our more PAR-experienced members know more about this issue.

If your games don't work first time, there may have been some dust preventing proper connection.
Inserting them a couple of times cleans the connectors, I think :)
Had the same problem with DK64 a few weeks ago ...
