I've recently downloaded another VBA version, somehow it works perfectly fine.
At least with F-Zero Maximum Velocity.

At first glance, it looks like individualy positioned baddies are a bit more friendly to low perfomance systems like Netbooks.
Usually, it felt like the animations were slower and stuttering in the old format.

I also like the idea of user customized post numbers, but I think Qyzbud has already chosen a good number.

And by the way, I think its not that rare for Qyzbud being up that late. At least from my experiences.

I think they are both fun to play, but its true that Blast Corps is more fun to complete. Completing Goldeneye and unlocking all cheats felt less like having fun with the game, but rather torturing myself.

The same on my side, I've got lots of platinums, but eventually I had to give up. The last 1/3 was just too hard...
And by the way: Someone who can complete Blast Corps should easily get all cheats on Goldeneye
