Animated Terrain

The bubbling terrain of Red-Hot Ride's main level area includes no less than 223 separate animations. To see the placeholders behind these animated tiles toggle terrain layer #2.

Black Background

The animated background typically seen in lava levels is absent in the main level area (and second Bonus Area) of Red-Hot Ride; presumably this is to accommodate the steam's layering technique.
