Constructing a DKC3 iceberg chart

Postby Flurryxvivo » January 5th, 2026, 8:09 am

Hello DKC Atlas, it sure has been a while :P

I've been resuming work on my DKC3 iceberg chart. I think most people nowadays know what that is, but in case you don't, it's a chart filled with various (obscure) information about a certain topic, with the bottom layers of the chart usually consisting of darker/more obscure topics. While there are 2 DKC3 icebergs online floating around, one of them is an old, outdated version from me, and another is more of a joke post. I've gained more experience and knowledge on the subject of DKC3 in the past years, so it's about time I continue my work.

Originally, I intended to drop a list of all topics I've already gathered, but I've come to the conclusion that it wouldn't be of much use to anyone. The list is WAY too long for anyone to have a good overview of it - and it's not because there's any unnecessary details attached. Instead, I'll just ask you about everything that comes to your mind. What weird things do you know about DKC3? What strange theories do you have about the game? Anything goes really.

Any reply is greatly appreciated :parry:

There's a hidden area in the haunted ghost barrel caves level that has Bear Coins in it, spending all of the Bonus Coins and then using the WATER cheat waterfall will give you 69 coins, Squirt might be polluting Cotton-Top Cove, and I remember the bridge in Mekanos flipping.

Ah thanks! I just finished another playthrough of DKC3 a couple of days ago and stumbled across that secret cave area. About the bridge, you're not the first person I've seen who remembers the bridge flipping. Probably just a confusion with something else, but I might include it nonetheless. It's nice food for thought!
