What is your favorite programming language, mine is GML (Game Maker Language), I have been using it since I was 10 or 11 years old.

For now, mine's Visual Basic. Later on, I'm going to actually try to use others, such as C++ or GML.

Well, Markster, if you have been using GML for that long, then you should have no trouble with C++ (GML is where I started, too). You're going to need that coding experience for creating Custom Object DLLs... ;)

Hey, I might learn it soon, but it will be hard, Mark Adventure 2 is being made in Game Maker with GML, maybe Mark Adventure 3 could be made in C++.

The problem with that, is that setting up an engine in C++ takes bloody forever to do (GM does this for you).

I mean, look at DELTA. It took me years to arrive at the working implementation that I'll be using for the real thing.

That's what I like about Game Maker, hey, I got the internet, a C++ learning book, and more to help me with learning C++.

I'm going C++ now, GameMaker is just getting worse and worse, YoYoGames is charging people 799.99$ for GameMaker: Studio Master... :|

C++ gives me a lot more control! :ugeek:
