Re: Ropey Rampage - Rope Glitch

The warp-back effect regarding vertical ropes is well known, but I haven't heard this swinging rope variation mentioned anywhere. I stumbled upon something kinda interesting based on this glitch; If you time your return-to-rope jump a bit later, you can have the game think you died, freeze the scree...

Okay, well shall I whip one up for Paint? You. Are. AWESOME. This will be the biggest breakthrough for the mapping project since camera positioning. Re: DKC Glitch Videos

Makes sense, really. There's absolutely no way not to finish the level by that point.
(of course, with the exception of the aforementioned trick or some rather extreme measure...)

So I guess MCC is rather the unique level, for that reason, and a few other reasons, of course.

Music That Inspired the Soundtracks of the DKC Trilogy

The Donkey Kong Country games have, in my opinion, excellent soundtracks. Some of the music in these games is completely original, but other tracks were apparently inspired by pre-existing music. Of course, the DKC intro theme is based on the original Donkey Kong arcade game's theme music, and many ...
