Re: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

I've made sure I'm not entirely spoiled for this game, but I HAVE looked up a few nice interesting videos showing some cool easter eggs and details in Tropical Freeze. I'm sure all you DKC fans will love these!

Re: What would like to see if Retro made a sequel

^ There could be a few reasons why Retro didn't include them. Firstly, an active volcano on DK island means Gorilla Glacier would have been blown to smithereens. As for water levels, they'd probably be too sluggish with the way DKCR controls, and the climate would have changed drastically to more hu...

Re: Best in the series for GBA?

I've only played DKC2 GBA, whilst on the surface people immediately assume they are terrible ports due to the lower sound and picture quality. But the gameplay is pretty much exactly the same as the SNES versions, and being portable doubles the awesomeness.

Re: Show it some love!

DKC2 has some fantastic music. Some are just given more attention than others.

It was actually Forest Interlude, not Stickerbush Symphony, that compelled me to pause the game to listen to this masterpiece when I first got to Gloomy Gulch.

Well, DKC2 probably was the most frustratingly hard game of the trilogy, the majority of the bosses (especially King Zing, the ghostly parrot guy and Kaptain K. Rool), and any stages with wind or brambles (Bramble Scramble in particular) were probably the most annoying for me.

It's kinda interesting, I voted Expresso because of him being fast and can hover for extra air time.
