I don't mean to be rude, but I noticed you're using the barrel sprites I made for DKC4. I hope you weren't going to steal them, because they weren't exactly free to use but I'll let it slide if some credit is given

For 3D modeling, I know Zaneebaslave uses ZBrush, and his Kersplash enemy and WIP Cheetah buddy are pretty darn awesome, so I'd say ZBrush is the way to go if you wanna go 3D. This is just beyond gorgeous; like the Sonic Generations of DKC, except wonderfully merging classic with modern rather than contrasting them. I adore that giant Necky stage!
