Avatar: The Last Airbender Discussion

Alright, The Southern Raiders just got over, and this topic needs to exist NOW. For the uninitiated, the show's about a kid who was frozen for a hundred years and when he gets unfrozen he has to save the world, yadda yadda yadda.

(Southern Raider spoilers)
Spoiler!
Did you guys see Katara almost kill that dude? And at the beginning, when Azula almost died? Epicness times ten.

Dang!
I really want to see this new season, but dubbing is hard work. Nickelodeon Latinamerica broadcasted the FOP Poof's special last week! xD

I haven't seen the series in a while though, but I really like it, kinda as a semi-fan =P My favorite book is Earth, altough I haven't seen Fire.
You know the latinamerican dubb calls it Avatar: La leyenda de Aang as in Avatar: The legend of Aang

There are places on the internet where you can watch Avatar episodes... Although none come to mind right now. So sorry. :|

And yeah, I heard that they changed the name for certain territories. I wonder why?

I know one! TurboNick =P Latinamerican version! Where you don't get pulled-out just because you don't live in the US ¬¬ XD
They don't have all the episodes though. Televisa should really put it again in Canal 5, or at least in Canal de las Estrellas Niños =P

Somehow I got interested in Avatar, too.
The thing I didn't like at first was that the series was often labeled as anime, but of course it wasn't...
Like Spongebob, it took a while for me to notice the series and then to notice its coolness.
I just started watching Avatar this year
It's a pity and it sucks that I was not a fan since the beginning. Oh well, better late than never....

Now there is a pause until the last episodes from book 3 air and I haven't recorded all episodes yet.
Almost nothing from book 1, and missed two episodes in book 2 and the same with book 3.

You think so? I thought the kiss at the end was perfect. They kinda rounded out all the canon pairings so people wouldn't be complaining in years about how Katara should've picked Zuko, Sokka could've been with Toph, and so on. There was really a sense of closure to it all.

I loved the part with those guys in the airship.
"So, whose birthday do you think it is?"
"I can't believe the captain remembered my birthday! He really does care!"
*The floor drops and everyone falls into the sea.* Priceless.

Sozin's Comet was a movie?!

I just thought it was a multi-episode part and they were showing a marathon!

It was basically a movie divided into four episodes, so yeah. I just got Book 3: Volume 4 on DVD today, and I've already watched it twice. :P
