There are some differences between two krunchas in DKC2?

I've never understand why Kruncha is red in castle crush and clapper's cavern (and probably at some other level) if he's the same of blue Kruncha... In donkey kong country the two krushas were different, in dkc2 are the same enemy, just with a different color. :roll:
I can't sleep since I've discovered that... Why? Why they aren't different?? :evil:

I think one is faster. Either that or you can't kill it by throwing the other player at it, but I think you can.

Sorry for my poor english, but i'll try to explain.
The blue ones will turn around when they reach a ledge.
The red ones will keep going and fall.
