That's a cool sprite,
EDIT2: Never mind again. (I'd better start reading whole posts.)

Wha?
If anyone has any suggestions on how I should animate him please feel free to give me a shout out. I believe I have a method but it's very unorthodox.

My first edit was originally "What if I can't see it?", but the pic fixed itself.
My second edit was "What animations are you gonna give it?" but then I realized that you posted what animations you'd give it.

My bad. I tend to edit my posts a few times to make them sound just right.

EDIT: I left off his sword by mistake so here it is!...again!!

Hi World!!!
I've finished DKC2 at 102%, playing more and more times almost every level, but I don't find anything about Mr. X.
Mr. X doesn't appear in the ending titles, otherwise all the other enemies and friends do it.

Bye bye!!!

See you next time!!!

Of course you don't find him. He was never kept in the game...

Though I'd be willing to wager someone will make an awesome boss out of him in a fan game someday. :P

Oh, and you just bumped a year-old thread without any significant addition to the discussion. Please don't do that. It's against the rules.

It's good to know a bit more about Mr. X's intended purpose, and Kackle's development history. :)

I've since noticed that this official info was reported on the DK Vine forum back in 2011 by user Neonlimit:

Neonlimit (DK Vine user) wrote:Anyone who says it's a beta version of Kackle is correct. We got a reply on the facebook group! Now we just need to get some info on all those unused characters from Donkey Kong Land.

Mr X would be an earlier version of the skeleton that chases you on the rollercoaster level. Can't remember him at all though.

So perhaps this wasn't completely new information, but due to my relative inattentiveness, it was new to me. :P

Thanks to you both for sharing the revelation here, at any rate.
