Glitch/PAR Code Snapshots

Post real snapshots of the DKC Series you took off an emulator, or at the screen, or whatever. I only keep glitch snapshots and PAR Codes; normal ones bore me.

I have LOTS of screenshots...some of them spectacular...if you want to see more of them...you should download this file:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6CXHFY8Y

2 of the videos of that file are screenshots of DKC glitches(all of them were made without PAR codes or hacks)

I can't seem to remember how I did it. I know it involved the PAR Codes 7E007F02 and 7E007E?? (I can't remember what the 2 last numbers were).

But while I was trying to redo it, I found something even more interesting ;)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8JF101IO
Just enter the code 7E007F02 and 7E007E37

i didn't use PAR codes...

Go to a stage with one kong, throw a DK barrel and pust start+slect before it breaks...let the evil guys kill you, but you must fall for a precipice after being hit. Then go to a stage with an animal buddy, break a DK barrel and you will control DK an Diddy at the same time...then one of the Kongs will be inmortal. Mount the animal buddy with the mortal kong and let the inmortal kong fall for a precipice. The you can take the animal buddy to other levels.

Note: you can take him only to other levels with animal buddies

Yeah, that's my glitch. Here's the thread for it: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=25&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

There are 2 PAR Codes that let take an animal buddy to another level if you beat a level with that animal buddy.

Also, here's all my screenshots:

I have edited the subject of this topic to better describe what lies within.

Personally, I think snapshots of glitches/codes in action should be kept separate. I know the effects can be similar looking, but the causes of these effects are so very different. If you guys are going to use DKC Atlas server space/bandwidth to host these images (which you are welcome to), I'd appreciate if you could - at the very least - indicate whether a snapshot is based on a glitch, or on a PAR code. That will help users understand what they are seeing, and will also make things easier if we end up splitting this into separate topics, which I recommend.

Kong-Fu: i have activated those PAR codes in my DKC rom and i have beaten jungle hijinx with rambi...but rambi doesn't appears in ropey rampage
Qyzbud: all my snapshots are about glitches, no PAR codes

EDIT: i have downloaded your snapshots, Kong-fu...really cool. the Diddy carrying a grey yoshi is really cool...how did you? About the Rattly snapshot in Toxic Tower...what's that strage golden thing?
ah, if you want to know how i did some of my glitches you can ask me too...but i think you already know how to produce that glitches ;)

The grey Yoshi is actually a treasure chest. The code is 7E0F902A and 7E0F902B
Goe wrote:if you want to know how i did some of my glitches you can ask me too...but i think you already know how to produce that glitches

I might not know all of them, but can't get them because I can't use RAR files and I never could install WinRAR. :(
Goe wrote:Kong-Fu: i have activated those PAR codes in my DKC rom and i have beaten jungle hijinx with rambi...but rambi doesn't appears in ropey rampage

Hmm... It works for me. Maybe you need a version 1 ROM (If you don't have one already).

I tried that with Winky from Winky's Walkway, and took him to Coral Capers, and when I entered, I pressed 'b' or 'y', or it just did it by itself, but Winky turned into the green-red Rambi you took a picture of above! Then I tried moving him, but he just swam forward, stuck in his attacking horn position, and he hit a fish, and went up and hit the top algae, and kept going forward. When I hit a wall on the right, he stopped, but he was still stuck, and pausing the game didn't work! I had to reset the software, (I have this on the VC).

You have to keep moving around without pressing B or Y until gravity is applied.

I just did another cool glitch! Go to Oil Drum Alley, and do Goe's glitch of making one kong inmortal after shooting out of the plast barrel to get you over a ledge, then go into the pit Rambi is in, then have both kongs mount to have a gray rambi, and an orange-brown rambi, but Diddy and Donkey will be floating in a sitting position in one place, and you will only be controling the Rambis, only one Rambi can jump off the tire, once you jump off and on to the ledge with that Rambi, keep going forward, and when you get near a Manky kong press 'b' and 'y', and you will end up turning into an odd color Diddy, then press the buttons again, and you will end up turning into a blue barrel, and a blue Winky! It might be only one of those buttons, or niether, but I can't remember. This glitch might make other wierd things happen to! One time, when my kong died, I did the level again, and when I lost a kong, the bananas turned orange. One time, I lost Rambi, but instead of Rambi running away, it was a Donkey kong as a wierd color in his sitting position going away! It was probably like the glitch of a Donkey kong sprite being a kritter, (snapshot taken by Goe). I have a question Goe, did you use Par codes, or did you do a glitch? If it was a glitch, could you please tell me what you did? Please and thanks! By the way, I'm asking Goe on the board instead of PM so everyone else will know the glitch to.

Sorry for the delay mate, i was on holidays. well...i have pm you telling how to do it, but i'll put the same here:

How to turn a kritter into DK:

Well, i did the famous glitch(throw a dk barrel and press start+select before it breaks, etc) and i went to Bouncy Bonanza, all time with one kong until i reached winky. Then, i broke a DK barrel and both kongs mounted winky...then, i saw several glitches, one of them was a kritter who turned into a DK...i think obtain that glitch may be really hard, so i suggest you use an emulator, and lots of savestates to explore the major number of glitches.

bye

Spoiler!
well, as you know, i had't played DKC3 for ages, but yesterday i downloaded a 103% savestate and decided to put PAR Codes for seeing strange things...and i decided DKC3 is much worse than i thought before...i always thought DKC3 is the worst game of the trilogy by far, but even including PAR Codes is a terrible game, reasons:

Using PAR Codes in DKC and DKC2 you can move in the air when you are controlling Enguarde, in DKC3 not.
When you are Squawks in an acuatic stage of DKC3, you can't move down

Well, here the screenshots i took

It's okay though, as it's in the spirit of this thread, and each post adds interesting content.

Goe wrote:I HAVE DISCONVER CLAPPER HURTS RAMBI

Discovered, that would be. It's not surprising to me that Clapper hurts Rambi... I mean, even without hacking/glitching you can see that Clapper hurts Enguarde, and he's pretty much a sleek, blue, underwater Rambi. Speaking of blue Rambi; your blue Rambi pic (Lives in the Mines_00000.png) a few posts up looks cool. 8-) EDIT: Oh yes, as you pointed out, that was Kong-Fu's pic...

That radio appears randomly (with a very low chance) in that level, also possible with Dixie and a golden guitar. I read that it is an error, but is there a possible PAR code to get a golden radio/guitar always?

It's difficult to get it. Are you sure that I have to get the 1st and 3rd banana? The picture looks like there is only the 3rd one, the 1st and 2nd are collected.
