What do ya'll think is next for the DK franchise? Do you think another game is in the works? What's it going to be like?

Or are we looking at more of a draught?

I hope that we get a new DKC soon, but unfortunately we should expect a drought.

Nintendo has never really cared to expand on DKC on its own, and Retro Studios seems to be working on a "different" project unrelated to DKC or Metroid.

I agree with OneOf99. We'll just have to keep loving DKC and hope for something else to happen. At least we still care!

Yeah, it definitely seems that way. Do you think there's a possibility of us getting something "other" like Jungle Beat or Jungle Climber?

I feel like it's the best we can hope for. And wouldn't be unwelcome, either.

If it is a Jungle Climber, I won't be too disappointed (I mean we were spoiled with two brilliant games recently) and besides I enjoyed the JC games.

Yeah, I would be cool with that too.

I was thinking something completely new that goes in an unexplored direction like Jungle Beat and Jungle Climber.

A sequel of Tropical Freeze should come out in the next 2 years.

What I, as a the old SNES trilogy fan , would like to see in a new game is:

-Return of the Kremilings
-Return of the zingers
-Return of the all animals buddies, not only the rambi
-The permanence of David Wise in the team
-A slight change in mechanics, going back a bit to the classic style (changing kongs to gameplay)
