That fake DKC glitch picture reminded me of some fake pictures I made myself a couple of years ago... unfortunately the best ones were lost when my computer crashed

They were all based on gameplay ideas I had, and this is the first (and worst) one I made:

Best. Idea. Ever. I've had an idea like that floating around in my head, actually. Well, not using all 4 kongs to team-throw at once, but being able to have access to all 4 kongs in one game. =/

That said, Kongs are far more clever and agile, so it would be wholly unique.

But who am I kidding... I like Lemmings.

Mattdog had a similar idea. It was just the three main kongs, and you could do tons of different moves, and they would be different depending on which Kong was the "base".

DKCplayer, that's a very nifty blend of some DKC/DKC2 animations, and it sends a valuable message.

Teeth, great idea and well executed. I say we campaign to have this become possible with the DKCLB.

Due to the sprite color limitation, Donkey Kong also has a yellow mouth in DKC's contest mode, if I remember correctly.

It does indeed. I know this isn't about a DKC picture, but it features sprites, and can technically become a GIF, so...
About 9 months ago, I started doing a PowerPoint presentation which would have Dixie, and would be supposedly in some kind of Brambly level. Lately I've been working in it and decided to choose Kiddy with her, instead of Diddy. It supposedly would have a level map (not working), and the actual level starting in the midway barrel. I eventually ended up procrastrinating and I never finished it.
Here's an old video I recorded...

In DKC2, Diddy has a blue mouth and Dixie a purple one. Seems they ate too much blueberries =P

Now that I suppose is actually possible. If you knew what the graphic 8x8's were, you could do that.

So, is it a Photoshop/Paint fake, or did you hack the game? I know that editing the level titles is really easy, all you do is search the text with a hex editor and replace. Haven't gotten around to that area of graphics yet, but editing a tile map isn't extremely difficult either.

It's actually a combination of hacking and Paint Shop Pro editing. I used the latter for the background, as I didn't have the patience to hack the tilemap. The text and paths were, however.
