Oddworld

Has anybody here heard about Oddworld? Abe's Oddysee? Abe's Exodus? Munch's Oddysee? Stranger's Wrath? What do you think about Oddworld? It was one of the video games I grew up with and I still love it. Have you ever been to the Oddworld Forums? Lets talk about Oddworld. My favorite game from the series would have to be Abe's Oddysee.

Hey, I'm an Oddworld fan. :)

I haven't played all of their games, but I really like Abe's Oddysee. It kinda reminds me of Flashback on SNES with its step-based gameplay. It's really cool being able to call to fellow Mudokons from across the room to have them follow you, or just say hi... and using mind control on the Sligs is awesome fun. Great game with lots of nice little touches, stunning cinematics, quirky & original characters, and plenty of innovative ideas.

I've seen some gameplay footage of Stranger's Wrath, and it looks brilliant. I'd definitely pick that up if I had the right hardware... I don't suppose it's playable on Xbox 360, is it..? I'm thinking of getting one of those. Maybe. Someday.

Stranger's Wrath is a really cool game but sadly it can't be played on Xbox 360, neither can Munch's Oddysee.

I'm a sucker for Abe. I loved Exoddus and Oddysee, but beyond that is out of my possibilities.
Abe is awesome.

Who was your favorite Glukkon? You know, the suited guys with no arms? My favorite was Director Phleg, and I loved Bonewerkz.

That's Bonewerkz. ;)
I'm gonna have to say the Brewmaster. His French accent was funny.

Whos your favorite enemies? It's between the Slogs or the Sligs. I love the Big Bro Sligs, they're so awesome.

I just noticed that Feeco Depot and the factory levels of DKC3 look similar...

I don't think I got a good picture of feeco but the railings look similar, and the style of the platforms too.

The websites still up, and you could always use an emulator.

Well, I'm a Mac user, so good PSX emulation is a no go
