Update 6/14/13!

The Mark Adventure series is an obstacle course style sidescrolling platformer series, the first one is quite glitchy, but the second game got has more difficulty, less glitches, and is a lot more popular than the first game.

I realize it's an early demo and you're probably already going to but, I suggest making it possible to walk up slopes. There's a number of them in your demo and it feels choppy jumping over them. I hope your project goes well.

I played your game, and it's fun, but the first snow level is laggy. Can you fix it?

It must be your computer, because the snow effect is kinda heavy.

I tried the new version, but the first snow level is still laggy, making it impossible for me to beat it. Try to fix it please. The snow effect makes the level very laggy.

It's not laggy on my computer, I will give you a special version with no background effects.

I uploaded a new Mark Adventure file that includes the original, and a version for people who have slow computers.

The snow effect was even slow on my computer, Markster. I'm afraid there's no real solution for that one...

Interesting game, but could use better graphics, obviously. ;)

How do you defeat bosses? Just avoid them for all eternity? I can't "beat" the level 3 boss.

Issues:
(1) Not being able to move on slopes is very annoying.
(2) You bounce on switches after they are pressed, was this intentional?

Re: Mark Adventure (COMPLETE!!!)

I'll tell you how you defeat the bosses.

Boss 1 : Make the lightning hit himself.
Boss 2 : Run from the rolling boss.
Boss 3 : Make the lightning hit himself, bombs won't do.
Boss 4 : Run from the rolling boss, with stuff to dodge.
Boss 5 : Make the lightning hit himself, bombs won't do, and don't forget, he is faster.
Boss 6 : Drops two things, either Lighting + Lighting, Bomb + Lightning, Bomb + Bomb, or Lightning + Bomb, make sure the lighting hits him.

It was intentional to bounce on the switches, and sorry, it is too difficult and physics changing to make it where Mark goes up slopes.

I had to stop at the forest stage, health bar was still hurting from the last boss, and I'm suppose to economize my health to bounce on spikes? It wasn't happening. xD
Nice work on the acid level.

I always planned to make a squeal, and Mark Blast is about Mark, Steven, and Wendy trying to defeat Cody Lewis, again, you have to blast from the cannon to the goal without getting hurt by an enemy or a deadly object, you have to go through tons of micro-levels, blasting your way to the goal.
----------
Fun fact, Mark and Steven are real people, I am the real Mark, my brother CrazyLink77 is the real Steven, Wendy and Cody Lewis where made up.

Since my game resolution is growing from 320x240 to 640x480, I made a graphic that was twice as big as the original, and better looking.

Update!
Here is the storyline for Mark Adventure 2.
----------
After Mark defeated Cody Lewis and rescued his little brother Steven, the Mark world changed a little, Mark and Wendy are in love, and Steven is back home, but Cody Lewis was planning the ultimate revenge scheme, so he stole the world's biggest nuclear weapon and then used it against the world, it killed 99.9% of the worlds population, but Mark, Steven, and Wendy lived through it because they saw it coming, they got into there bomb shelter and stayed in there till the radiation was gone, after that, they where exploring the world, everyone was dead, everyone was poisoned by radiation, but they met there first survivor in Virginia from Kentucky, he was a black kid who likes to do goofy stuff, like poop on people's gardens, and he joined the Mark clan, and it is up to you to steal the Cody Time Machine from Cody Lewis and stop this all from happening.

6/14/13 : This plot is stupid. :headache:

I noticed that both the desert and grass level seem to have a roof, a similiar looking slope, egg clouds, and a blue cushion. Why is that? You have unique level design, by the way.

Originally, it has egg clouds in the beta of MA1, but CrazyLink77/Retro Fever changed it to better clouds, since we don't make games together, I have to use my original designs.
