Um... pointless thread is pointless?

Actually no, it's not pointless else wise I would have locked this.

We need a thread like this soley for game artwork, so that we can collect the artwork and screenshots before the internet swallows them up in a few years after the DKCR release.

EDIT: Renamed the thread to reflect this.

You know how Nintendo never keeps their game sites online for long. We need to get these resources and save them!

All screenshots and artwork was from Super Mario Wiki.
I was thinking about putting the logo and a pic of Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong together, but, sadly, images can't be more than 800 pixels wide.

Now I will upload some other pics which weren't in this thread yet.

When I said "double post", I meant not to post in a topic immediately after you just posted. You don't need to post twice in a row in the same topic, you can just edit your previous post.

It looks more like Donkey and Diddy are wearing sweaters, rather than being furry... but maybe that's just me.

I can't directly post them because they're too big, but there's a crapload of new renders here. You can uh, thank me later.

BAM. DONKEY KONG ISLAND! The first world is "Jungle" apparently? Notrly, Retro. But, gotta remember, this is SUPER HD Donkey Kong Country, as opposed to regular DKC which is not as HD. Nice to see a sort of Vine Valley right above the beach. Also, what is that purple stuff to the left on the island?

And yeah, there's some sort of menu system planned (bottom right), a mini-HUD displaying lives and banana coins. DK Island has never looked so peaceful and natural. Props to Retro for the design, though not for the naming issue
