Well, this topic is pretty straightforward. Just tell what your favorite Mario Kart game is and why.

For me, Mario Kart DS easily beats every other Mario Kart game. The gameplay is tight and easy to get used to. The graphics are acceptable for a Nintendo DS game. The character selection is all fine and dandy (come on, you know you like R.O.B.!), and there are interesting tracks and items. For the most part the game is good. The online is somewhat limited, but hey. It's Mario Kart.

DS... then probably the original followed by 64. The original is probably just out of nostalgia, though.

Definately 64. Followed by the GBA one.

I personally enjoyed the one for SNES the best.

DS. Online play (even though it's not the best), lots of tracks, lots of new modes and quite a lot of characters.

64 > Super Circuit > Double Dash!! > SMK > DS

My opinion. If anyone wants an in-depth review, feel free to ask.

That's pretty much the same for me, except switch Double Dash and Super Mario Kart.

In the newer games, they don't even use karts. → Mario Kart 64 is my favourite game of the series.
Everything feels just right and I especially like the controls.

SNES (SMK), the only one that actually took skill
IF you can beat 150cc on SMK, you actually deserve a medal.

Mario Kart Wii > Every other kart racer ever made.

It's fun. Wi-Fi's good. Getting a triple-star rating requires skill and Funky's in it. All in all, what more could you ask for?

I prefer Crash Team Racing. (It's not mario, but it's still a kart racer game.)
But I think my favourite Mario Kart game is Mario Kart 64, because I vaguely remember winning the first time I played it.
