Hey! Fun stuff!

1. Get a "Donkey Kong Country 3 - Dixie Kong's Double Trouble (U) [!]" ROM
2. Download this snapshot.

3. Run the DKC3 ROM and load the snapshot.
4. Voila! DKC2 Boss music while running a DKC3 ROM!

TRY IT YOURSELF!

I tried it, I heard the music, but all I could see what a black screen. Am I supposed to be playing the game while the music plays?

Nope.

The save was originally in a boss fight, but obviously, the corresponding level data in DKC3 must be empty.

But hey, the DKC2 Boss theme was left in DKC3! Betcha you didn't know that!

Is there a PAR code or some kinda Genie code that puts the music in-game?

FALSE.

The SPC700 state data remains intact, so any SPC data is going to keep playing back even if the main game crashes.

This wouldn't happen to be a crashed DKC2 savestate, would it?

This thing works even if you load the state up with a DKC ROM.

PAR code proof or it didn't happen.
