OK, this is a topic where you post your favourite Mario power ups.

OK, I'll start!
Cape Mario (SMW)
Hammer Mario (SMB3)
Shell Mario (NSMB)
Rabbit Mario (SML2)
Metal Mario (SM64)
Gold Mario (NSMB2)
Rock Mario (SMG2)
Yup, that's right, I don't really like Tanooki. Sue me.

I always liked the 'Super Leaf' flying power, especially since you could hit blocks with the raccoon tail... the option of turning into a statue is cool, too, so I guess I'm a Tanooki Suit fan.
Kuribo's boot was a fun idea, as well.
Overall, I think the cape was the most fun, though.

You know, eventually the whole Mushroom Kingdom will hate Gold Mario. I mean, just look at the promotional video material for New Super Mario Bros. 2; there are coins all over the screen, and that's just for the 30 seconds or so of the advertisement! Just think of all the inflation that Mario is causing with that power-up! But, I digress. I'm not here to discuss the Mushroom Kingdom's budget deficit (that's for the "Random Thoughts" topic!).
My favorite power-up is the Mushroom. Why?

Also, have any of you noticed that ever since Luigi was excluded from Mario games back in the '90s, Nintendo has been using him as some sort of a cop-out prize for beating the game? Oh boy, now I get to play the socially anxious, wimp brother of Mario. Whoopdy-damn-doo. Don't get me wrong. I love Luigi! BUT HE'S NOT A DAMN PRIZE! Even the overworld palette swap from Super Mario World was a better prize! Come on, Nintendo! I'm not one of those "epic-whore, anime loving, SMBZ fan, Sonic + Mario supporter, thinks Luigi is better than Mario, thinks Weegee, Elmo, and Barney are scary" twelve-year-olds that the internet is plagued with (no offense to anyone here, I just had to vent).
