I'm not sure. Can't you just export audio files of your 2 songs though?
You can put the songs on Youtube if you like, but YT reduces the quality of the audio. It is possible to improve the quality by adding "&fmt=18" (without quotes) to the end of the URL, but you can't do that until several hours after upload. Can you also set the video to private?
This is my YT
I think this is Qyzbud, but you'll need to double check with him

As for your offer to claim CLS (in the PM), Kong-Fu and Lampje have already taken it. :)

Alright Kong-Fu.

Didn't got a chance to make the Midi yesterday.
Don't worry I'm still here.
As soon as the DKC OST finished downloading (stupid torrents) I'll have a look and you will get PMed :)

Again, don't worry.
I'm not gonna leave you behind, alone ♥

My suggestion for figuring out a MIDI is to use an emulator and activate only one channel at a time, figuring out each individually. This way you can get all the small stuff hidden in there.

Just use the link Gnawzooka posted.

If he really wants it he can have it. I just took it because I figured no one else actually wanted it. ;)

If you have trouble figuring out one of the channels, try recording it and slowing down the audio file and try to play it on an external instrument, like a guitar or a piano. These are all things that helped me, good luck with this.

I think most people are doing some form of electronic music. cfh is doing rock. I'm trying to do something else but I'll probably end up using lots of synths too. I don't know what Qyzbud is doing yet.

Funky's Flights is going to be rock, Fear Factory will be trance. I can't use any acoustic instruments because all the FLStudio demo instruments are synths, except for a few crappy samples.

Maybe I'll find some VSTs.

So far the treetop rock one has acoustic guitar and stuff, but I think it's going to transition into more electric.

My style will be Dance :D

Just reinstalled my PC.
Got a nasty (and new) virus last tuesday, so had to reinstall Vista etc.
My work has not been deleted, as I use partitions :)

You still doing Candy's Song, Kong-Fu?
I would figure out your notes, but I need another program.
The one I'm using doesn't want to work for some reason.
Else you can do it by ear, perhaps.
I really hate the way it went, so many issues, so little time :(

Me and Dixie will be on vacation from 20 - 27 July in Belgium.
We are now focusing on getting that WIP from Gangplank done to keep the claim.

I can try doing some more of it by isolating the channels and using SliceX's 'detect pitch regions' feature like I did with a small part of it.

I'll just be honest and say that I haven't done anything for my remixes yet.
Only arrived back home in the Netherlands like a week and a half ago, and I'm still slowly settling back in (went looking for a job, study etc.). Today I went out and bought my KrK G2 Rokit 8 inch monitor-speakers though, and they'll arrive about four days from now, which'll make a nice starting point for my remix(es) then. :)

Just got a great plug-in called Addictive Drums, which can create real sounding drum tracks out of MIDI sequences, and works with most programs. It's amazing and I recommend it to anyone working on this collab.

BUMP: 9 more days until the deadline. Looks like lot of people will lose their claims. I will probably lose Candy's theme, but I don't really care. It's at the bottom of my to do list for this project and I didn't even make a midi yet. I don't think many people will want to take it but if they do, Have at it!

I came up with an idea for the album name: Live from DK Island

Though that suggests it was all played live.. Songs from DK Island? Kind of like Tears for Fear's "Songs from the Big Chair"

Anyway, I do like the idea of Live from DK Isle. I really can't think of a name cause my brain is dead today. Tripping over my dog 3 times and running into walls 5 times? Yeah...
Yup, it's almost time for tha funkie WIP deadline and I did get one WIP in. (Which I got lit on fire for... :P) But the other... I lit the fuse on it before the police came in. And now I'm flocked. So, yeah.
Oh, and... ummmm..... never mind.

My Credits Concert track is almost complete, I would say about 95%.
A little info about the track, I was trying to capture the happy journey completion feeling the original credit concert song made me feel, but evolving it to a Hard Melodic Trance genre. As of now only Sockpuppet has heard the WIP.

But... I thought Simian Segue was the jungle stage music.

I was going to take Simian Segue when the claim dropped. But since I got the wrong song and won't be taking it, where's my WIP:
http://www.zshare.net/audio/63388766ae153029/

CFH's is better
Rock >>>> jazz

Project mixes, however, I don't think Sockpuppet will allow. He said already he didn't want us releasing them before the project is done.

↑This↑ I don't want to kill any of the surprise. One thing I dislike about the OverClocked DKC2 project is that we've already heard at least samples of about 70% of the tracks.

And yes, Simain Segue is the map theme, DK Island Swing is the Jungle theme. The GBA version mixed them up in the soundtest.

By the way Kong-Fu, I liked your version of the song as well, but I do prefer cfh's. You should finish after we're done with the project. ;)

(I dunno if anyone's noticed but I've updated the track list with the new WIPs I've heard. Remember everyone, you've only got 2 days to get you're WIPs in!)

Sorry everyone, I've only been on for very short periods of time for the last few days, so I haven't had time to update much. Here's how all the ReMixers are going (In alphabetical...):

cfh - Safe

CoolStyleE - Sent a WIP of CDC, but has since restarted it so the WIP I have no longer counts. Both tracks open.

Cosmicman - Safe

cRAVE - I'll have to have a word with him. He never answered the PM I sent (Although Newgrounds doesn't have an Outbox/Sent Items screen so I'm not even 100% sure the PM even worked). As of now I've got no idea how he's going with his track, but it's very possible he won't have access to a virus-free computer until after the project is finished.

Dixie - Safe

Holy Crap Productions (Gnawzooka) - Hasn't sent any WIPs in. Both tracks open.

Kong-Fu - Safe (Candy collab was only set up very close to the deadline, so that's safe too)

Lampje - Safe

nackhe - Hasn't sent in WIPs, but I think he's got an excuse (was on holiday until recently). Correct me if I'm wrong, nackhe. ;)

Qyzbud - Obviously thinks his life and website are far more important than our project.

Nah just kidding, he's excused.

Sockpuppet (Me) - I admit I should have more done by now, but I have done a bit of work on both my tracks. So I'm safe.

So what happens to happens to those who missed the deadline? They're beheaded I'm bringing back a system similar to the maybe claims, except hopefully less confusing. I will leave the persons name there and mark the track in orange. Anyone is then free to take the track off them.

Bad news everyone: cRAVE's computer just died, so he'll be unable to finish the track before the planned deadline. :(

So that means Forest Frenzy is now open. If no-one else takes it I will (it happens to be my second favorite song in the game), but I've got a bit to do already. Speaking of which I've just had a sudden wave of inspiration. Yay!

Kong-Fu's orchestrated plus breakbeat idea for Bad Boss Boogie sounds awesome, try that.

And as much as I would hate to see yet another trance remix in this collab, you could give it a shot with Tree Top Rock. It's the only genre other than rock or jazz that I can imagine it in..

Well, ideas and inspiration just happen to be my greatest remixing strengths (Instruments and FX being my weakness)

We could do a collab: I'll arrange it, and you can make the instruments. I recommend it be orchestral breakbeat, but no capella. The last thing I want is to be singing "Oh lolli lollipop" in the tune of Bad Boss Boogie.

Not really what Dave Wise had in mind.
