Yes, your game not only looks great, but sounds great and is smooth as well. The music in the stage is amazing and I like how the platforms stop when you throw a Kong. What else is there to say but keep up the awesome work!

Thought you'd be interested to know that over at www.spriters-resource.com we're doing a DKC ripping project, including team-up sprites that are separated from each other. This could make it much easier to make custom team ups of DK/Dixie, Diddy/Kiddy, etc.

Hi Ton, I've been following your work (and some other users here the DKC Atlas) with contributions to spriters-resource.com and I have used your work for my project, I am very grateful for that.
The DKCRE by Simion, with the feature extraction of sprites, has been helpful to me too! It is mandatory that we credit all of you in our project!
However, I have problems with the "Team Up" sprites, this specific sprites were not ripped, I'm having to adapt. If anyone got these, would be of great help to our project.
Cheers!

That's what I'm saying, is we're continuing the ripping. Here's some updated stuff;
There's a sheet of Diddy's team-up sprites too, but we haven't added those to the site yet.
So you cando stuff like this. Diddy carrying DK/Kiddy might be a little tougher. Some editing might be involved.

WOW!!! This is fantastic! Amazing! I'll use this Dixie/Diddy teaming up move rip in our project! (With these, the rest will be easy to edit/customize) I really enjoyed it, will be of great help! Thank you!

Is DK running with Dixie? That is a good idea for what he can do while Diddy or Dixie are on the back of him.
I think you're missing one sprite group for Dixie, Tonberry. It's the "ride on Kiddy/steel keg" animation frames.
Are any of the new sprites you found beta related? There is still the mystery of the missing Dixie ledge animation frame.

You know how in DKC1, there were frames which were never used in game, like Donkey Kong scratching his head as an idle action. Or In DKC2, there were frames of Diddy and Dixie mourning their loss (supposedly to be used for the bonus levels). According to Markster, there exist frames of Dixie losing her balance, as if she were about to fall off a cliff - like those of Donkey and Diddy back in the first game. The DKC3 ROM supposedly does not have these frames, yet they exist in the GBA version.
My question is, were you able to find any unused sprites in DKC2 and 3 besides those frames which have already been documented here on the Atlas?

We haven't found any of the "lost sprites" unfortunately, but we're hoping to so we can add them to the sheets.

Thanks! This BG music has composed by Marvin Portello, a musician composer of our project. This terrain is part of library that I have. Many years ago I collect all this material on the internet and ripping old games platform (but do not remember where I got this one in specific).
I have enough work for several days to exchange and synchronize all Teaming Up animations (with great help from Tonberry2000 now we can put the original DKC teaming up animations )
But for the next update, I promise to show all teaming up movements corrected and a preview of new stage.
See ya!
Edit: Here one of the sprites (unedited) I used to do this stage:

hum ... then this means that you can turn any sprite in a sprite "appropriate" for donkey kong country. you going to do remakes of phases of donkey kong land? would be fantastic to play in Big Ape City fully remastered ...
Kong and in relation to what I'm working I need everyone's opinion, to do a good job I need to focus on one kong and I'm in doubt between two and here are these:

Great idea! Maps from DKC GBA/GBC series, I will consider this. Your Kong character looks promising, you can do all the animations? Maybe we could use it in our project, would be a great way to spread their work.

us if you do remakes of all the original phases (snes) plus exclusive gba, gbc game will have some 212 (out custom stages) will be a hero if you complete this game ... It would also be nice (and challenging) if you do you do the super donkey kong 99 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUz-Qc0c-9Q

I was looking at the DKC for Game Boy Advance released and we have the following: DKC1, DKC2 and DKC3. But the stages are the same as the SNES DKC series. (correct me if I'm wrong). So, are discarded because I'm using the maps of the DKC 1, 2, 3 from Snes.
Well, from Game Boy Color we have the following:
DKC1 - The stages are the same as the SNES / is discarded Donkey Kong Land 1 - The stages are all different from DKC's for snes! / surely want to use it, remastering the graphics Donkey Kong Land 2 - The archetype is different, but the stages elements are the same as the SNES / is discarded Donkey Kong Land 3 - The archetype is different, but the stages elements are the same as the SNES / is discarded
Okay, am I correct in my analysis? For in view of this, which will be able to use maps from Donkey Kong Land 1.

well ... on DKC1 dkc2 GBA and you are sure they are exactly like the SNES games already in dkc3 he has an island completely unique Pacifica (http://donkeykong.wikia.com/wiki/Pacifica) and when I referred to the GBA when I referred to this island ...
Well, from Game Boy Color ...
DKC1 is exactly the same then it is discarded
ja on donkey kong land donkey kong land 2 and 3 games are also different from almost all SNES games (not sure if all are different stages over the majority are), now I'm using when I no longer have the time free I put a picture to show you best
not want to criticize your work my intention is just to help ...

This was a stimulus (thumb up)? If it was thanks! I ended replacing all teaming up animations. (It gave a lot of work to do, are 12 possible combinations of kong team up move). I'm currently working on one of the "remastered" stages, which show how the teaming up has now.

Thanks for the help, I'm a little confused by this. Well, Donkey Kong Country 3 for Game Boy Advance have the map "Pacifica" having the following levels:
There is anything new if compared the levels of DKC3 from Snes In terms of graphics. Changes is just like the levels were edited. What I wonder is the following: What are the other levels that are not for DKC to Snes and that are different from the DKC for Snes? This analysis is difficult to make. What I know so far is that Donkey Kong Land 1 is totally different from any DKC released for SNES.
And I'm sorry, I do not know if they are understanding me, I speak little English. Hey doug kong, are u from?
Some engine fix Teaming Up animations changed New stage added

This is tricky. DK and Diddy don't have much to work with. DK especially. I figured he could just run around normally since he's, y'know, real strong and stuff. At least unless we figure something else out. And maybe we can repurpose Diddy's mourning as his "heavy carry"? If not, some splicing may be involved.

Sorry for so many images. Well Tonberry, with your sprites (and Ant19831983) is that we have these teaming up animations in the game. I'm really grateful for that.
On the issue of Donkey Kong carrying up the other Kong's. I'll try to explain what I think about it, my English is bad so I hope you understand the explanation.
We have Donkey Kong has his running animation, but I think we should not put that same animation on Donkey Kong carrying up another kong. Therefore, carrying up another kong, it should run at a slower speed. This would be an inconsistency, the same animation for running and walking while carrying another kong having different speeds.
You understand that? It's really a matter of physical consistency. So I decided to use animation of Donkey Kong carrying a barrel.
I hope you have understood this explanation and once again thank you for the sprites! (We are thinking of using the "unused sprites" found in ROM for other things in the game)

I have a suggestion on Diddy carrying heavier characters why not edit Dixie's sprite of carrying heavier characters? As for DK why not edit him to have a carry animation like Kiddy?

This is coming along wonderfully!
If you don't mind, I would like to take up aperson98's suggestion of using Dixie's animation of holding a heavy Kong and editing it to make it Diddy.
I would also like to try to make something that will work a bit better for DK holding another Kong.
It may take a little while (maybe a week, because I have school and work), but I think I can do it.
