Donkey Kong Country 2 for GZDooM

Long time i not come here. Well, i decided to start to make my own version fo Donkey Kong Country 2 using the gzdoom engine, i tried before creating DKC in gzdoom before, but are mediocre, so during this years i worked in other projects, like create mortal kombat 2 for DooM (zandronum, a GZDooM based port), this this the result:

Thanks to this mod i enhanced my skills as a programmer, so i decided start from the scratch and recreate Donke Kong Country 2 using this engine, but i doní want a replica, for that only is needed play the original DKC2, will have my stamp:

-Donkey Kong will be playable via cheat code (in fact maybe i can show the cheat code after of beating the entire game)
-Is a great possibility create new world, like a lost world 2 expansion.
-The questions of Swanky will change.
-I will use resources from the beta.

i started three days ago and this is the progress for the moment, is not a big progress but almost i finished with the titlemap, here a video:

Nice! I'd like to play as DK. And nice intro when the coffer is opened.

I have seen your 2015 videos and bananas don't dissapear even once you have taken it. Hope you have already learn to fix it.

that is because that mod was for multiplayer, all the players must got the bananas, but this new is only for singleplayer, so that feature is no longer.

Looks really cool! Maybe this is something you are already aware of, but I think Donkey Kong is a little too small for the terrain. That, or the terrain is too large for Donkey Kong. Other than that, it's honestly amazing, keep up the great work!

I already fixed the scale of Donkey Kong, now is more bigger. I recently included the hud for the banana counter (on the top, left side of the screen), and tomorrow i will do the same for the life (on the top, right side of the screen).
