If you click on a link above, then you'll see an animal... in the background!

Wow, that is extremely random. I wonder why they put that there, maybe there are more of those hidden in the game. :?: But it makes no sense as to why they put that in Slipside Ride. Although it is a bit funny...

Hahaha, well done... you've found a definite improvement the GBC version made over the SNES DKC! I never made it that far through this port, so this is hilarious and strange news to me. Maybe I ought to invest a bit of time next weekend in finishing all DKC game ports, with the hopes of discovering, say... a herd of bison, or a yak.

Just a thought; it would be much more funny (and more meaningful) if there was a donkey in the background, wouldn't you say? I think it's high-time for a few more jovial references to DK's name.

All I have to say is this...

HOLY COW! XD

not really a glitch, but an easter egg.
cows tend to appear in many games for whatever reason. read more about it here.

What the heck is that doing in the background?
I know it's supposed to be an easter egg, but why a cow? As Qyz said, it should at least be a donkey or something.

It shouldn't be a cow or a donkey; it could've been a Kong. That would fit much better. Or maybe nothing at all...

I swear I have played this game for so long, and i have NEVER IN MY LIFE seen a cow. I might search for it, because I usually use the warp in this level anyway.

It just looks so out of place there.

Rare's portable team did this with a few of their titles.

oh my goodness, how random! :D

I think a cow animal buddy would have been interesting, though. Were there animal buddies in that particular game, though? I never played it.

What do you mean? This is DKC, so it has the same everything from DKC SNES.

That is indeed rather random.

Wait a minute...
I suddenly realize that cows that look similar to that also appear in Conker's Pocket Tales, near Vultureville. Behind the hill where you fight Evil Acorn. Or something in that area.

Coincidence?

Those cows are a common easter egg in Rare's handheld games.
