OK, go to the last level and play through up to when he knocks the three sets of cannon balls. Jump on his head when he throws his crown. When you bounce off of his head, hold right and you will pass the spot you are supposed to land and end up by the pole. The game will skip the "Kredits" and go straight back to the fight.

This only happens if you die after the kredits has shown once and then you replay the fight.
When you land on K. K. Rool the last time before the kredits you can't control the direction of the monkeys, they always bounce the same way.
