Well, I saw a topic about the last album you bought, but I didn't see one just about the kind of musics you like... So here it is...

Well, I love grunge music. My favourite band is Blind Melon. I love that band so much that I've done three drawings of the lead singer and got to leave one by his grave...

Anyways, I also like Oasis, Screaming Trees, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, System of a Down, Dead Milkmen, The Beatles, Candlebox, Michael Jackson, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble, John Lee Hooker, and the Traveling Wilburys.

So what kinda junk do you listen to? (I don't mean you listen to junk...)

I'm into chillout / Alternative rock. Though sometimes pop is okay.

So just quickly, I like Radiohead, Coldplay, Dido, Eskimo Joe, AIR, Gorillaz, Zero 7, Eminem, Moby, sometimes Lady Gaga, and I might be getting into Muse.

Watch yourselves disintegrate when you don't know about half my favorite artists/bands!!! Mwahahhaha!

I like New Age and Techno Pop. Sometimes just whatever calms me down, I use music as a method of relaxation.
Some I like are Era, Mecano, Aleks Syntek, Coldplay, Moenia, Vangelis, Enya, Jean-Michel Jarre, Julieta Venegas and Fey.

I'm exposed to just too much Reggaeton and Norteña, though... *dies*

Well, I forgot to add a band to my list: Alice in Chains. I just got two cds of them and I can't get enough! Woo hoo, metal-e grunge! And after listening to them, it reminds me of how much I hate Metallica... I'm sure that some of you out there actually like that band. Those are just my thoughts.

I'm a rock fan myself. My favorite band would be Rise Against, my favorite song from it would be a tie between Savior and Hero of War. Not much of a pop or rap person.

I used to religiously worship Lady Gaga, but when that started to border on Satanic obsession I distanced myself from her and focused on mainly Christian artists... Haha, I hate sounding religious, but they get a bad rep from the mainstream when there are actually some legitimate ones... I'm also a fan of teh RAP omg (Like I listened to this when Weezy got out, just for the heck of it.)

And this describes my feelings on DKCR, bwaha.

I said (on the first post) about my boss being super amazing and taking my drawing to Shannon Hoon's grave (lead singer of Blind Melon, my all-time favourite band). I figured I might as well post it on this... No one goes to the artwork forum anymore.

My drawing is the furthest one on the left. My boss photocopied the drawing and laminated it (immediately to the right of the original drawing).

Phyreburnz, check out a band called Swift if you wanna hear more sludgey rock like Alice In Chains. They're a mix of a few grunge, rock and heavy rock bands but their EP is free and worth checking out. Might be up your tree.

I shall most definitely check them out. However, I do prefer the more mellow grunge (Blind Melon, Pearl Jam, Screaming Trees).

I saw Pearl Jam with Liam Finn and Ben Harper last year, was an amazing show. Can't decide if that, Muse or Enter Shikari is the best show I've been to.

Just got the Nuts & Bolts soundtrack from Amazon. Getting the little sticker off the top of the case was a b...*bleep*...ch, but it's quite worth it for the best video game soundtrack ever! I also should getting the Orphan movie soundtrack soon... also, an Alejandro vinyl (Lady Gagaa) came in the mail as well. Today was like my second Christmas.

I absolutely HATE getting that stupid sticker off the top of the case! Luckily, though, I buy most of my cds used. I don't have any movie soundtracks, but I do have a cassette tape (somewhere) that a friend got me of the Lion King Broadway musical.

My favorite musics are the soundtracks of Donkey Kong Country, Banjo-Kazooie and other Rare games. :U

And I adore classical as well, mostly stuff from Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.

Well, go figure, I got three more Alice In Chains cds within the past few days. I haven't been able to listen to anything else for some reason.

Rodent: My sister told me about Mad Season. It was Layne Staley's side project. I think you'd like them. It's A LOT more mellow than AIC. They only had one album: Above. I found it and I LOVE it!

Recently I've been addicted to Linkin Park's earlier songs such as Papercut.

Also, other good bands I like are Rise Against (as I posted before), Avenged Sevenfold, and Silverstein.

Lately I've been listening to Vangelis a lot... amazing music, really. It reminds me of DKC for some reason.

You haven't lived if you haven't listened to Conquest of Paradise at least once!
