Oh, wow... didn't notice that the post counts had gone. :/ I didn't neccessarily think they'd need to go; the only reason they would I M O was if someone was spamming to boost their rank; in which case changing the basis of ranks were given out would make more sense than hiding post counts altogether.

Hmm? The version of OoT which comes with Masterquest hasn't been improved, though; the graphics are still the same as they were on the 64. The improved graphics sound cool; but I'm assuming they'll be taking out a lot of the tricks from the original that I've gotten used to over the past few months....

Again, you don't need to be good at speedrunning to compete; just practice a few times and watch an actual speedrun for help with routes. And even then, you don't have to go for gold if you decide to compete. Last time for the BK face off we had one guy keep on going for 5 hours after everyone else ...
