Are the Kremlings facing budget cuts because of the Flying Krock's high maintenance demand and could not make it for DKCR?

He was a bit tied up. Unless of course there's some sort of remake allowing him to be played. Also, the general idea of theft and stealing would hurt his character (realize that was Cranky Kong who stole Pauline, not Donkey Kong) Is it too hopeful to think of a DKC-trilogy overhaul with DKCR's engine?

While this is an interesting topic (bootlegs usually are), I feel it's wrong to compare the bootleg's title screen to the SNES American version. Because if they did not have it, all that would be left to explore in the original DKC would be the Gangplank Galleon. Also, DK would have no place to store his bananas!

That artwork is so awesome, it gave me a lot of hope for the game.

Well, Rambi is confirmed (seeing as he's on the very cover of the game), so it's likely we'll see some returning characters.

Does anyone remember what a struggle levels Snow Barrel Blast through Torchlight Trouble was? The save point is a million levels away! All on one perfect- no game over level beating streak. DKC3? Seriously? That game was just bad. They tried to make everything different and cool, but failed. Music was bad too. I say DKC2 for it's excellent music, gameplay, depth, originality, music, animal buddies, worlds, bosses, and music.

The map screens were bright and cheerful, and so were the levels. DKC has a very epic and varied soundtrack as well. The cast was great too- Cranky simply will never get old. Funky, in my opinion, was at his coolest here. And Candy, she's cool too. Jungle levels will never get old. The game is easy ...

K. Rool's Keep. Castle Crush, for me, was nearly IMPOSSIBLE. And yeah, there's that famous glitch for the level too. The rest of the levels were kinda annoying.

Krazy Kremland has one of the most epic soundtracks in video game history. No contest.

I've been working very hardly lately on reworking the wiki. New articles, page overhauls, etc. in the last few months. I'm a big (huge) DKC fan and nearly every edit I have there is DKC related. Please help me in this. It's really gotten better lately.
