Re: Where is Tiptup in Nuts & Bolts.

He's not there. The game doesn't take place in the usual locales though, it's the place that LOG made for Banjo and Grunty to compete in. So... Tiptup is back at Spiral Mountain (or where ever he lives) during Nuts & Bolts. But that makes me wonder: how did the other returning characters get to ...

Well, the DKU wiki is kinda dead and was never really worked on to a presentable state, and the Donkey Kong Wiki is pretty much the Super Mario Wiki minus the Mario stuff. So yeah. The Kiss Kongs thing isn't something you can really pick up by reading wikis and "real websites", it's just o...

Re: Your favorite level in DKCR?

Since DKCR came out I've subscribed to the theory that Big Ape City exists on DK Island behind or inside the Factory world. It's just not well illustrated in any of the games, but it's there. Donkey Kong Land never said that Big Ape City was on another island, that was just assumed at the DKU becaus...

Re: Your favorite level in DKCR?

I would have left the poll out and just made it a discussion, because like Katzii I can't choose just one, especially since even the different "types" of levels are all so varied themselves. One level that comes to mind is the lava silhouette level with Rambi in it. That was awesome.

Yeah, ten years ago I would've said Funkoland. Now, I'll go with Play N Trade. They're a lot like Gamestop I guess, and they might even be a bit more expensive sometimes, but they've got an extensive selection of Retro consoles and games as far back as the NES. Also, every one that I've been in has ...

Re: What Video Game Systems Do You Own?

I bought a Game Gear today. It's the blue model. It came with 9 games (and 2 SNES controllers) for $28. It's pretty sweet, except one question: When I play it, if I look straight on I can't see anything on screen. I have to tilt the screen to actually see the picture. Is that supposed to happen?

Yeah, the reason that the topic hasn't been made is because we don't necessarily need a topic for every new DK featured game that comes out just for the sake of completion. Nobody wants to talk about it, thus nobody has made the topic.

Re: What would like to see if Retro made a sequel

Look, Tiptup is right about the copyrighted material. There is a slight legal issue when it comes to direct ports, such as the virtual console, however. There is a guaranteed sequel, however, like I've been saying all along it will not be coming out on this system. Re: K. Kruizer?

The flying Krock is K. Rool's first ship. In DK64, he has the "King Kruizer II", so that implies that the Flying Krock was the first King Kruizer. Then KoS and JC had the K. Kruizer's 3 and 4. The K. stands for King in both of those games.

Re: The 3DS

Yeah they will probably do it eventually.

The GBA slot in the DS port sounds a little risky though. The DS cards are so small, it seems to me that if you go from such a thin card and then to a big bulky GBA slot it could easily snap off.
