Re: Sockpuppet's Remix Project (DKC2)

O.K, I'm pausing work on this project for a little bit, as I have to do remixes for this , this and this . And maybe this too if my audition gets accepted. =) But I've got a good idea of how Bayou Boogie, Jib Jig, Flight of the Zinger, Stickerbrush Symphony, Steel Drum Rumba and Lockjaw's Saga will ...

Re: OverClocked ReMix DKC2 Project

I found what is probably an early version of Snakey Chantey ReMix, titled Crystal Swamp: http://dkmusic.karmus.dk/remix/Donkey%20Kong%20Country%202/VGMix/tepid%20-%20Crystal%20Swamp.mp3 The Swanky's Swing ReMix is called 'Pickin' Out the Fleas,' and it's apparently a mix of that song and 'The Animal...

So are you going to slowly post more links after time? This looks like a pretty cool project. Yep. :D Thanks! Wow, the quality is awesome, what programs are you using? Sockpuppet's Remix Project (DKC2)

This project dead. Hopefully we can do a Collaboration project for DKC2 after we finish the project for DKC. Hello everyone! I've decided to start my own remix project for DKC2, because it's my favorite VG soundtrack ever. I will most likely be the only one involved. I will be doing new remixes and...

Re: The Commercial Topic

I posted that one earlier Gnawzooka: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mv5U0W8FDDk
But a lot of beer ads are really good. I remember seeing a show called 'Best Ads Ever' or something like that and half the ads shown were advertising beer.

I found this old preview back on pg 14 of the OC thread. No different ReMixes, but it previews different sections of them.

EDIT: All tracks are now claimed.

Life in the Shaft Lane
I redid my Mining Melancholy ReMix, so now it's heaps better and 5 minutes long. And now it's more of a Mining Melancholy/Life in the Mines/Donkey Kong Rescued ReMix.

That's because the end of Minecart Madness IS DK Island Swing. But it does sound like Indiana Jones!

Yeah, the Boogies could easily be a coincidence, but it's still interesting.
Also, the end of Krook's March is similar to DK Island Swing, and parts of Haunted Chase sound like Mine Cart Madness.

Yeah, that's true. They are VERY similar. Another one I noticed was Bad Boss Boogie (0:20) and Bayou Boogie (0:57). Hey, they both end with 'boogie.' :D

It's because people like us are heavily outnumbered by "casual gamers." Because there's more of them, that's who Nintendo make games for. But for some reason games like Zelda are becoming a lot less enjoyable as well. Twilight Princess was just alright. Not amazing like Ocarina of Time, Wi...

Re: Gone, and Back Again

In Floodlit Fish and Loopy Lights, the lights go off themselves and you have to attack fish/hit barrels to turn them back on, but in Glimmer's Galleon the light is always there (except at the very start). GG is more similar to Torchlit Trouble.

I think there are un-grabbable bananas all over the tree levels though. The Rattly crate and coffee sack can only be seen in that one place: the end of Barrel Shield Bust-Up.
Unless they're in Swoopy Salvo too... I'll play through that level again and edit in whatever I find.

Well, either he's lying and never asked him, it's a REALLY BIG coincidence or... He said " I asked David Wise but he said he got inspiration from some other song " so MAYBE both songs were inspired by the one song. It's a pity this 'other song' isn't named... =( I really can't believe it's...
