Re: The Super Smash Bros. Brawl Topic

Getting Diddy in Brawl wasn't a prize, it was a given. Every one of your other points were a given too, in that most playable characters got just as many if not more representation than Donkey. It's impressive if one just compares the number of DK features to Melee, but still lousy compared to what...

Mattrizzle, that's amazing! I can't believe there is so much unused stuff left in the game, along with missing frames of animation. Re: The Super Smash Bros. Brawl Topic

It's just a popularity contest. And the occasional whim of the developer, as the case was with Ice Climbers. Little regard is given to the actual importance and relevence of a given series. Donkey gets screwed for a number of reasons: 1) Nintendo doesn't think he's a high-priority franchise, 2) He h...

Au contraire, plenty of new things were added to the DKC port. Most of them worthless and unnecessary, as port tradition dictates, but it's still something. For example, every boss besides K. Rool had a new attack pattern. Not bad at all.

Re: The DKC Series Music Naming

It's probably a regional thing. Australia has the common term 'bushfire' while US and some other countries use the term 'brushfire' or 'wildfire'. A few years ago I was surprised apon noticing a new deck of Pokemon cards had been called a 'brushfire' deck, figuring out the reason later on.

About this time last year, I recieved a ripped model of K. Rool from Donkey Kong 64. From what I understand, it's essentially a 3D screen capture during gameplay. Donkey Kong's the only one we know who stockpiles bananas; it's his personal hoard, and it's never been implied that he trades them for anything. Cranky Kong for example doesn't give two hoots about it. "Banana Milkshakes" have been mentioned on more than one occasion, so the Kongs almost ...
