How come the map warp isn't working for me? I press 'b' right when your character hits the turn in the path from Jungle Hijinx, and Ropey Rampage, but it doesn't warp me. I'm using 1 character, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Am I sopposed to press 'b' at another spot besides the angle, or...

Wow, nice hack! It's a bummer I have this game on the VC, because I can't hack on it, unless Nintendo makes a system for hacking on the VC, which I doubt they will do. Good luck with the second part of the level!
