Re: Riverside Race

There are a lot of weirdness to be found in games when playing in frame advance, it's awesome.
But they were on to something when they did that timer.

In the GBA version you can get the time very low as the timer still goes on when you take the level warp. Haven't played the GBA version though...

Re: Riverside Race

One thing people should be aware of when they try to beat the time, is that it's faster with only one character. As you have to wait for both of them to get into the barrel before you are blasted away. I tried to do this, TAS style, awhile ago. Didn't fully optimize it but got a time of 51:97. Anoth...

Re: Banjo-Kazooie: Face off

Things like this are always nice. I haven't played through Banjo Kazooie enough times to be able to make a decent speedrun of it. Playing the game on PC sucks and the analog stick for the N64 sucks even worse.

I might be able to get one less with some more speed. But the speed is REALLY odd in this level, can be hard to believe maybe. Arne and I spend many hours with this level in the TAS, annoying crap...

Re: DKC SNES Trilogy: Differences between revisions

Nackhe: Well, you can try some of the glitches mentioned here. As you live in Europe I presume you are using the PAL version of the game. One thing you can try is to carry a barrel and jump on an enemy. If the barrel is going straight up in the air, you are using V 1.1, if it isn't you are using 1.0.
