Re: K. Rool's Last Stand glitch (DKL3)

I believe the "turn power off" shortcut combo might be part of the hardware, not the game. I don't think so; I seem to recall Link's Awakening using the soft reset combination to save the game. I'm sure I've played games that don't respond to the reset combo at certain times either. I rem...

Another way to go about diagnosing the problem would be to determine what makes that page different, seeing as it only happens on that particular page. There doesn't seem to be anything unusual other than the five YouTube videos that are embedded, so I'd start there. The "allowfullscreen" ...

The SDK2 editor has a built in search function that allows you to search for individual objects. Re: New/Working DKC2 Custom Hack: *Kongtraband*

1. Renaming levels inside the SDK2 editor is a bit awkward, but should work fine as long as each character is preceded by a comma. If it won't work, it should be just as easy to change the values with any hex editor. Level names start at 0x34D07C. 2. The sprite data is all heirarchial, in that commo...

Re: DKC Atlas Level Mapping Project

The MP3 spec requires a small section of silence at the beginning and end of the file which is automatically included by most programs when it it saved or created. Re: --Translated-- SDK2 Editor, SDK3 Editor & DKC3 Map Tools.

The tilesets used by the SDK2 editor are loaded directly from the rom and the correct palette is then applied. The SDK3 editor does not load the tiles from rom, but instead uses the images inside the "chips" folder. Any change to them would affect the appearance of a map in the editor. Thi...

Re: DKC3 - Unleashed

Hi, The patch is distributed in the ups format, which prevents it from being applied to the wrong rom. So first, you'll need the correct rom, which is the USA version of Donkey Kong Country 3. if necessary, the rom should be deinterleaved, and should not have a header. Interleaving is fairly uncommo...
