Re: Jungle Climber: Opinions about the game

I really wish I could've gotten a hold of this one. I don't have a DS, and don't have plans to get one, but if I found one for cheap (ie. twenty dollars) then I'd get one. And then I'd track down JC. Perhaps if I find the cash to get a 3DS (which seems like a much more worthy investment), then I'll ...

Re: What I would've done if I were in charge of DKCR

DK was in space throughout several levels of Donkey Kong Jungle beat, including when he fought Sumo Kong atop an asteroid. Also, I expect that several key parts take place on an alien planet, but they never say where the levels take place since their aren't any maps or anything. Also, DK was in spac...

The only reason I would put Chimp Caverns with the other DKC worlds is because they kind of go together. I mean, the properties that are the same color should be somewhat close to each other, right?

There are a couple things I disagree with, but you have the idea down. What is Chimp Caverns doing where it is? Also, isn't there a space on the monopoly board where the players can collect a community pot of money or something? Because that would be the banana hoard. Klubba would definitely be the ...

Less likely Characters for DKCR

We all know (at least, I know) that Cranky, Funky, and Rambi are guaranteed for DKCR. There are a lot of great characters that we have no evidence either way of their inclusion. Here we can discuss what characters we want to see that aren't as likely. As for my suggestions, I'd say: Winky the Frog a...

So I mentioned over year ago that I was going to make a DKC monopoly board game, and I never did. So now I'm thinking about it again, and I want your input on a few things. Re: What I would've done if I were in charge of DKCR

Back to the topic's purpose, I actually really like the space idea. Some might say it rips on Mario Galaxy, but it would be unique in that it's entirely 2D. I spose this is for the best. I don't want to stop anyone from voicing their opinions, but with the little information we have to go off it does seem a bit useless at this point. Lets save the flamewar after there's been more extensive coverage of the game.

Re: The Kong Helpers!

My only problem with the idea is I can't really imagine what new roles they could have, although I'm sure Retro could come up with something. Unless the NPC's take some queues from the Brothers Bear and incorporate some item collecting/puzzle solving into the World map, which I'd be perfectly ok with.
