Re: Project DKC 1 Reloaded

Sorta cheesy, but well written. I'm a minimalist when it comes to stories like this so I would've gone with a DKL-esque plot, ie. Cranky claims that DKC was too easy, so he makes it harder and bets they can't beat it. Yours is much better, but the Tiki thing and the Conker references seem out of pla...

Gameline is a gaming news site that me and my friends have been working on for the past year. Essentially, this is it's history: -We are all members of an AV/Broadcasting club at our high school. Re: DONKEY KONG COUNTRY RETURNS!!! [CONFIRMED]

As well you should've been shot down anywhere from 2003 through 2006 (at least). It was rational thinking, it was logically reasoned based upon the information we were given. For years we were practically forced to believe what we did, and up until 2008 it was pretty much justifiable. From 2008 to n...

This topic turned out to be true^

Also, my article turned out to be true also:

I called it New Donkey Kong Country, but that's the same as DKCR.

So yeah, I'm always right and stuff.

Re: Jomingo's Crazy Ideas: A Donkey Kong RTS

The same was suggested at the DKU, it does seem fitting. The only thing that would make me not want it based on the Kremean War is that the Kremean War is in the distant past, during Cranky and Bazooka's younger days. This would mean that Funky, DK, Diddy, or any other modern character wouldn't fit....

Jomingo's Crazy Ideas: A Donkey Kong RTS

So this might be a little weird, but I've been piecing together what a DK RTS would be like, and I'm wondering what your thoughts are on the prospect. Could a DK RTS work? Let me lay down the groundwork for you. There are two races: Kongs and Kremlings. Both rely on harvesting bananas, as bananas ar...

Cool ideas. I also think something more interesting could be done during the 2nd plane parts. Right now you just go up and throw a barrel at him, there should be something more. Re: The Random Thoughts Topic

Actually, I would argue that a "Rare" fansite is closer to their roots. Sure, their use to be a larger emphasis on DK than in recent years, but the whole idea of the "Donkey Kong Universe" was because at the time every Rare game that came out was somehow connected to DK, and so C...

Yeah, that's the problem with the Jungle buddies, they are cheap replacements for better characters. I like them, but I'd never take them over the real ones. Re: DONKEY KONG COUNTRY RETURNS!!! [CONFIRMED]

They did use the term swordfish with wings but it was a joke. Anyway, I would take the "No Crocodiles" comment as what it seems at face value. I don't think they are secretly trying to conceal the presence of Kremlings, and I've come to grips with that. It doesn't sound like a secret hint ...

I guess you couldn't tell, but it was a joke. They were asked about important Kongs, and they threw out what should have been a very obvious exclusion of a very ridiculous character to expect. I think it shows how DKC can still be a relevant new game again. If they had made it just a rehash of DKC with nothing new than it would just be trying to cash in on 15 year old nostalgia.
