Re: DKC-related animations

I just went through the whole thread and I must say I think everything is PERFECT except for maaaaayyybe the Dixie crawling animation, something is off, but other than that, everything in this thread looks sooooo... official.

Re: --Translated-- SDK2 Editor, SDK3 Editor & DKC3 Map Tools.

For example, in each of these there is two cameras that occupy the same amount of space, yet only one example would function correctly. The other would not allow you to pass.
Yes! This has happened to me, but especially with vertical levels. So weird.

Re: --Translated-- SDK2 Editor, SDK3 Editor & DKC3 Map Tools.

I'm not completely sure about the intricacies of the sort button, but it shouldn't hurt anything most of the time. It's got to be different enough for DKC2, because when I rearranged the cameras in Screech's Sprint, linked them all correctly, and then clicked sort, I got stuck in the middle of the ...

Re: --Translated-- SDK2 Editor, SDK3 Editor & DKC3 Map Tools.

I would like to maybe one day write a full FAQ for SDK2 Editor, but that is nowhere near the top of my list of priorities right now. However, there are two aspects of the editor that I have learned that I feel are important enough that I feel must share. THE SORT BUTTON In order for the bananas in y...

Re: Banana Fairy?

Writing the letters A, X, and B, can be time-consuming if you are in a mad hurry, so simple lines with just a curve in them would be faster. So if the pattern being played was XYBBAX, you would write: (let's let "p" represent that backwards "c") n c u u p n Which would be a lot f...

Re: Banana Fairy?

Maybe to speed up your writing, have simple lines represent YXBA? For example, a curve looking like the letter "n" could represent X, a curve looking like the letter "u" could represent B, a curve looking like the letter "c" could represent Y, and a curve representing a...

Re: Challenges

I would like to see a video of this 26 second run with all KONG letters.

Collecting all the letters took me about 32 seconds.

Disregarding the letters took me about 29 seconds.

Re: Favorite Enemy

Do I really need to hide my choice with a spoiler tag?

Halloween of '96, I wanted to dress up as Kutlass, Krook, and Kloak. Yes, I wanted to alternate between all three costumes throughout the night. Damn it, I thought those guys were so cool.

Re: mentholcase humbly presents: DKC2: Hard As Kongcrete

Thanks ! Oh, and I've actually already figured out how to change level names, haha. I've done it with a handful of levels so it would make sense of some of the changes that were done. For example, since Hot-Head Hop has no Krocheads, and you must use Dixie's slow descent to get from area to area, it...

Where are the options Ambidextrous and Other ? I am right handed except for when it comes to writing and drawing. I also kick with my right foot. Of interesting note is when I box, I am most comfortable in a southpaw stance, even though my right fist hits harder. The only thing I can do with both le...
