Re: Custom/Edited Sprites

Phyre, you should think about making a hole that fits in the top of the tree, too. That way things can be hidden in it and DK/Kiddy could bust it open. For the mushrooms, would you consider making a "bouncing" animation like the ones in Sonic & Knuckles? that would add a new element to...

Re: Donkey Kong Country 4: The Kongs Return

I'd rather have a fangame with no fan characters... They often weigh down the game.
And Sassy Kong sounds kind of Mary Sue-y. She's fast like a small Kong, strong like a big Kong, etc. and kind of imbalances the Kongs. Why would you ever NOT choose her.

Re: DKC 3D Modeling/Animation Project

Looking at the official model, I'd say try shortening his beak a tad and making his bottom "lip" a bit thicker. Then make the eyelid a straight line all the way around the eye. As-is, your model has his eyes bulging out a bit.

Re: DKC-Related Custom Animations

I think the electric wires would be good for the steel girder/scaffolding stages too. Maybe make some telephone poles to go with the theme, haha.

I like your clay model conversion, but I'm having some trouble reading what it's supposed to be. It's very tiny. The Duck float is a great touch though.

Re: Custom/Edited Sprites

I love the idea of a tire factory. Loads of conveyor belts (does any game have those?) and those lava pits from the factory stages in DKC3. There could be a new kind of enemy that is a Knocka or Klobber in a stack of tires who bounces you around and can't be killed.

A few ideas: -Levels that require you to use certain Kongs. For example, a scale is at the beginning of the stage with a respawning DK barrel. Only when you've selected the right Kongs (DK and Kiddy, for example) will the weight be enough to allow you to enter the stage. This could also be done with...

We sure do! If some of the awesome modelers here would submit we'd be more than happy to accept!

My idea for a model is a lava-based Kremling (Think Blarrg from Mario World). I'm trying to think of new enemies, so maybe I'll add to this list later.

I just thought of a fun object; Tire Swing. It's a tire attached to a vine that swings back and forth. If it hits the Kongs or enemies, they are bounced away in the opposite direction. The Tire Swing could swing back and forth over pits or near spikes.
