UEFA Euro 2008: If Turkey wins against Croatia, then there will be the match "Döner gegen Kartoffel" in the semifinal. No, I'm not a big soccer/football fan (I never watch any national leagues), but of course I'm excited in international matches ;) And I also don't know why football-german...
Those damn Hard Drives... I hope flash drives are getting cheaper and can store more data soon. Rotating disks at 7200 RPM isn't that safe, I think. Since the day my external hard disk crashed I try to store everthing at least at two different drives/DVD's if it's something important.
Maybe it's that dodgy Starforce copy-protection that I need to run my favourite racing simulation (and nice that due to the anti-cuss function I've learned a new word, dodgy! ;)) I still have those windows error reports in my Temp folder, but I don't know whether you can do something with them, or n...
Nice improvement on Firefox 3.0 I've often opened more than 20, 30 tabs and then it usually got much slower. But now there are around 40 tabs and everything is still going fast!
I could always start the DELTA Game Engine, but it bluescreened right after choosing File -> Start in the first version (without extracion) In the version with the error-check (with extracted data) I got the bluescreen shortly after seeing the Factory. Oh, I see there's a new version. Maybe I can te...
... and they couldn't/wouldn't provide anything even if they did. That's really bad. I expected a little more fan service from Rare, at least we helped them getting big ;) And I hope they don't do something similar like this: "RCA Victor decided to demolish their Camden warehouse in the early ...
Oh no, I've just tested the new version with the error-checking, now I can at least see the factory before my PC gets the bluescreen It's about time for buying a laptop, but at the moment prices for the 9 Cell Battery are ridicoulous high at Dell germany.
That was really dumb of me trying to start DELTA without giving him some data. I know this might have been a hasty release because cfh cannot upload any new things the next weeks, but for idiots like me it would be nice if there was some routine that checks for the data instead of giving a bluescree...
Just got a bluescreen after starting the DELTA Game Engine with priority number 3. Maybe I should have been extracting the DKC Rom data first before using DELTA? ;) But I'm afraid of getting a bluescreen again, so I will wait for an answer. I'm sure that this is an awesome programm nonetheless! :) E...
Looks nice, those Doodels. They look very professional I think it's almost time to post my great Cammy picture, but uploading on imageshack got incredibly hard, often I cannot even delete old pictures.
I suppose I can make it so that you can control K. Rool, that would be awesome! He wouldn't have tons of moves, though. Woah, including controllable K.Rools (and maybe other bosses) sounds like a nice idea. I think that should be expanded to a Multiplayer mode. One person is controlling the boss, w...
well done you two, I like both the comic and the yellow team! Due to the sprite color limitation, Donkey Kong also has a yellow mouth in DKC's contest mode, if I remember correctly.
But anyhow, I've heard that Start/Select only works if you get game over in a level you've already completed... Damn, you're right! :D I just have completed levels on my original catridge, that was the problem. Exiting also works on USA 1.0 when dying in completed levels. At least you can exit the ...
In DKC, you can use the DIDDY-code after getting a game over. After collecting some lives you can press Start and then Select to go back to the map screen to the level you lost your last life. But somehow exiting the bonus room doesn't work for my USA 1.0 ROM
Damn, I missed it! (due to a friend that was visiting me) But congratulation for the second place, well done mate! A DKC event would definately be cool to watch and Tompa deserves at least platinum ;) And maybe all DKC's should be played. It is not quite a marathon playing the first DKC alone, is it...
Something new, maybe: After getting a game over, you can use the DIDDY code to get some lives in the animal bonuses and then press Start and then Select to get back to where you lost you last life. But Rare hasn't thought that you might go back without collecting any lives. If you do this you don't ...
First of all, I had to rebuy the N64 and the SNES a few years ago due to an unfortunate event. I think I've already explained this event in another topic and I don't want to bore you with my personal history :) The good thing was that happened around 2000, so there was no problem buying a fresh N64....
I got used to lags I think DKCLB will have proper Netplay modes, so we may not need Emu netplay in future. But I would like to play with some European guys from this forum, nonetheless.
So, I'm working at a Game Boy playing Conker at the moment. Isn't that DKC-related (but Rarelated). It is at least an animation. ;) http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/7042/gameboytestja7.gif I would like to have a fitting endless animation, but that is going to be hard. Conkers tail moves are independ...
Oops, you may be right, I'm not that much of an hacker to know the differences :D I haven't found any better places to test this Conker pic. I wanted to animate him, but thats really hard with 3D images. So I just put Donkey on the magazine Conker is reading. Watch out! 1000th post approaching!
Just lost one trial due to a storm, the short voltage fluctuation led to rebooting my PC :) Woah, I think I'll never tire of looking at this animation on my mobile. Just so... ...amazing! Edit: I started editing the pictures, can someone confirm that it consists of 209 frames from the first to the l...
This is going to be a thread where you can post your selfmade DKC-related animations. As for instance a running Donkey or a jumping Winky, or even something as shocking as a Rareware logo appearing out of thin air. It started as a topic in "Anything Goes", where I asked for programms to ma...
'VG music in unusual places' sounds good and you're right, it would really improve this threads usefullness :) I don't know if the trucker had some sort of trigger for the music, because he often played just the first 6 notes 3 times consecutively. Another option would be that this is an electric ho...
Damn, just a few minutes ago there was a truck in our street to collect scrap metal. And the driver had nothing better to do than listening loud to the NES Super Mario theme while driving! I first thought that a internet site played that song in the background :) Wish I had my digital camera at hand...
Clues? Damn, this online dictionary fools me, I think. http://www.dict.cc/?s=Faden" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Try to imagine what I wanted to say and post it here  Maybe the right word to use was "thread". But I'm only used to this word in forums, hehe. I also ...
Thanks! As you can see at the bottom, I've also drawn one of her hands. I had to cut it a bit because the whole hand was too big, it didn't fit to the small face. I love eyes and I sure spent most of the time on those eyes :D I should have drawn that picture on white paper, but that was the best I c...
Inking on computer sounds good, but I don't have the time to learn it at the moment. Here are the next two pieces: http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/1893/songohan1xn3.th.jpg http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/5986/lady300dpihl8.th.jpg The first is as old as my other Ranma/Dragonball pics, the secon...
Mhhh, with SNES9X I have problems with PAR codes at the moment. Somehow they aren't stored correctly, so the 8-bit code transforms into a similar non-working 7-bit code after closing the cheat codes window.
I'm searching for Conker 64 logos (or THE logo :) ), but I haven't found any good yet. So far I'm searching in a "waybackmachine" but interestingly Twelve Tales 's logo isn't safed in the one from Nov 11. 1998 Maybe someone still has the images like that stored somewhere on his PC or elsew...
What's with Star Ocean? I think it has more than 4 MB. According to wikipedia Tales of Phantasia too 8-) I think it is OK to post directly from wikipedia: "While the SNES can address 128 Mb (Mib), only 117.75 Mb are actually available for cartridge use. A fairly normal mapping could easily addr...
I don't need any prizes, because every update is like a jackpot ;) Many levels pages feature screenshots of every bonuslevel, but some not. Sure, I don't know if it even was your intention to include them all, because a bonuslevel section will make this unnessecary. And I think it's no coincidence t...
It's about time for some new pictures: http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/9675/shampookleidtv3.th.jpg http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/170/gotenksfz1.th.jpg They are as old as the other manga picture. I don't draw Dragonball pictures anymore, but I should do some more Inuyasha and Ranma pictures...
