Re: Mature Cartoon Contest

Tie between the classic Simpsons episodes (up until around Season 13) and Futurama for me. Family Guy got old, and the gags on the Simpsons started going downhill, personally. King of the Hill I never found funny, to be honest. Same with American Dad. South Park can be alright on occasions, but I've...

Time Off

Just letting peeps know that I'll be taking quite a bit off time off the site in the upcoming months. (mid year) Examination results came back, and failing 2 out of 6 isn't such a good thing; rather a wake up call that I need to pull my head in for a while. My username's Kowbrainz, seeing as nobody takes that name before me, ever (wonder why that is... :P) but the videos on there are quite subpar; basically me attempting to run through a level or something as fast as I can and doing it pretty miserably. Re: Dreaming about DKC

Lol, this is a quite common topic I've seen at a Banjo-Kazooie board I go to as well; people who are able to have these dreams about games every now and then; for some it's just about every month. The only problem with that is that people tend to lose interest over a long period of time. Banjo-Kazooie: Face off

For any of the overly avid Banjo-Kazooie fans out there, this weekend is for you. Even if you were a bit disappointed by the big reveal from Rare last month, you shouldn't be so sad this time. Re: Banjo is Back!

I'm glad the characters and humour are returning, at least. I think that's really what gave BK its soul, and is probably why I like having Banjo in this game instead of it being a totally new IP, since I wouldn't really be able to relate to or bond with the new characters.

Re: Banjo is Back!

I think they may have already done that; apparently the game went through three cycles of development - the BK you see now is the result of two ideas being scrapped. Yeah, the only reason Gold, Silver and Crystal die more easily is because of the in-game clocks and the batteries for them. Serebii.net had a few ways to fix it up, namely sending it to nintendo or opening it all up to solder a new battery in yourself.
