The Lost World
This is rumored to existence in DK64.
What puzzles me is this: If DKC2 and DKC3 had a Lost World, wouldn't Rare
want to continue the Lost World tradition in DK64? So far, no evidence
of a Lost World has been found. If you find a Lost World, e-mail me at

Snide's Headquarters
Sometimes things just simply puzzle
me. After the game of DK64 is beaten 101%, you get the special ending.
However, when you go back to Snide's Headquarters, he still says, "...go
get K-Rool..." Now why would this happen in a videogame? I have no idea.
The pole in Creepy Castle
One of the most puzzling mysteries
of Donkey Kong 64. Why, besides the purple banana balloon floating around
the room, would Rare bother to make a room with nothing but a totem-like
pole in the middle of the room? There could be a connection between the
pole and the Lost World, but so far no use has been discovered for this
pole.
The location of the banana hoard
Now, you all have played DKC, right?
Do you remember how DK got kicked out of his treehouse and you can enter
the area with the empty banana hoard by walking through the hole on
the ground? After knowing this, switch to DK64. In the surrounding
area around DK's treehouse, you have to climb up a tree and swing across
vines to reach the banana hoard entrance in the air. Why would Rare
suddenly change the location of the banana hoard and mix everything up?
Doesn't make any sense, does it?
The game ending
Cranky's really old, you all know
that. But how could Cranky possibly climb up a tree, swing across
vines and hobble at the speed of a snail towards DK's banana hoard? Not
possible, buddy. No old timer could ever do that, and it's another mistake
in Donkey Kong 64 that has been overlooked by the developers.
The result of failing in Hideout Helm
It has been rumored that your entire
game gets deleted when you lose in Hideout Helm by failing to complete
the obstacles in a set amount of time determined by the amount of blueprints
collected. This is in fact false, because I have tried doing this on purpose
myself. When I lost, it only showed the game over sequence that you always
see when you quit your game in DK64. The only thing you lose is your personal
time. Nothing is reset, everything is still there. Now there's one rumor
that has been marked as false.
Chunky in the Kong Selection Barrel
There's something odd about Chunky
in the Kong Selection Barrel. When you've picked Chunky, he chickens out
and points to Tiny. When you move from him to another Kong, he has a sigh
of relief, but then...he tries to get your attention to pick him! Why?
Something else that I have no idea why it would happen.
