Gloomy Gulch
OK. You already had fun in Kremland. It's about time to get scared now! Gloomy Gulch is the most feared and the most haunted part of Krocodile Isle. Ghostly woods, haunted houses, rejected roller coasters are in here. The infamous ghostly duo named Kackle and Kloak haunts this gloomy and dark forest. Even the ropes that provide a safe way to climb and reach objects are ghostly too! Just look behind and front of you. You may not now who is sneaking behind you.
Ghostly Grove
You're just entering the ghostly woods of Gloomy Gulch. In this stage, ropes are appearing and disappearing which is really kind of tough getting the Bonuses and other goodies or even travelling across a wide gap. When they appear, you'll hear a ghostly moan and that's you're cue to jump on the rope. If the rope's eyes blinks, he will moan again and will disappear and that's your cue to jump away from the rope. At the beginning wait for a Kloak to appear and he'll throw bananas. Wait again and he'll throw a chest and inside it is a 1-up!
DK KOIN
- See the letter "O"?, underneath the "O" is a ledge and underneath the ledge is the DK Koin. Go to the next ledge and defeat the Klobber. Cartwheel or helicopter to the left underneath the ledge to get inside the Barrel Cannon and it'll launch you to the DK Koin.
2 Bonus Barrel
- After the letter "O", go right until you see two barrels and two Krunchas. Defeat the Krunchas and roll the barrel to the right and it'll crash in the wall into the first bonus area
- After getting the letter "N", there are two ropes appearing and disappearing very quickly. Before they moan, quickly jump and once you're in the air, you'll be in the rope jump to the other rope fast and get in to the Bonus Barrel. Dixie's helicopter is also useful here to get the second rope.
Haunted Hall
Ride this cursed and haunted roller coaster stage with the spirit of that bony Kremling named Kackle! There are also Zingers in here. Bust all the Plus Barrels so you can add the time. Bust the Minus Barrel and they'll subtract the time! If time runs out, Kackle will take one of you!
DK KOIN
- It's under the platform near the exit.
3 Bonus Barrels
- After exiting the first room of Kackle, jump on the top track. Don't enter the second bonus stage because you'll miss the first one! Jump on the wooden platform and you'll go to the first bonus stage
- After finishing the first bonus area, your car will start at the top track again and now you can enter the second bonus area (the one underneath the wooden platform)
- After getting the Continue Barrel, you'll get inside Kackle's room again. After exiting his room, you'll see two tracks. Aim for the lower one! Make a short hop just as your car is beginning to fall to get to the lower track. You can also make a longer jump from further back and you'll land on the edge of the lower track
Gusty Glade
You're back at the creepy forests but there's wind blowing so better be careful when jumping from one platform/hook/Barrel Cannon to another. Sometimes, the wind is so powerful that you can't go back anymore. Rattly is hidden behind the starting point. Throw your partner upwards and jump to the left. Once you get Rattly proceed until you see a letter "A" formed by bananas. Forget doing super jumps but jump like you normally do. You'll reach the ledge anyway. You can also bounce on the baddie near the letter "A" sign and you'll reach the ledge. Lead Rattly to the no animal sign and he'll turn into a 3-up! Time your jumps when you're in a Barrel, ledge, or hook. Wait for the wind to blow the right way and that's the time to jump
DK KOIN
- After the first set of Barrel Cannons, stand on the hill but don't fall on the platform with a Kannon on it. Use Dixie's helicopter and direct her to the skies. The wind will blow you and you'll get the DK Koin which is really out of reach when you're below
2 Bonus Barrels
- Easy to find! Use team throw and reach the Bonus Barrel. It's near the no animal sign.
- Look for a pair of Kutlasses guarding two chests. Defeat the upper Kutlass. Bring the upper chest and bash the lower Kutlass. There's a Cannonball inside that chest. Proceed and once you see the Cannon, you know what to do
Parrot Chute Panic
Purple Squawks lives in this beehive stage. They don't throw eggs but they can carry you down. You don't need Squawks anyway! This is the reason that this stage is tough. You must navigate left and right while Squawks is flying downward to avoid the Zingers. Dixie's helicopter spin works well in this stage because it's faster and is much more maneuverable. There's a shortcut in this stage. Grab the first crate, hop down the first step and bash the wall. You'll open a passage.
DK KOIN
- At the beginning, Use Dixie to helicopter down near the left side of the screen. Keep holding the left button until you get the DK Koin
2 Bonus Barrels
- After getting letter "K", ride on Squawks and navigate until you exit the small passage with Zingers. While you exit the narrow passage, quickly hold the left button and you'll see a ledge with an opening. If you miss it, you will be forced to start all over again
- From the Continue Barrel, ride on the second Squawks. After he drops you, use Diddy's cartwheel and cartwheel to the left and jump on the sticky wall. Wall jump to the top and you'll see an opening
Web Woods
Hard, long, and sometimes frustrating. You will transform into Squitter later on and you must use web platforms in order to cross really wide gaps! Not only that you must cross the wide gaps using webs but you must also avoid the enemies swooping, landing, shooting, or zooming at you! If you finish this level, team throw past the exit on the hill and you'll get a hidden 2-up
DK KOIN
-It's one of the rewards in the target exit. Time your blsat carefully or you will be forced to start over again!
2 Bonus Barrels
- All of the Bonus Areas here are really hard to find. After getting the letter "N", go down the stairs and you'll see a wall. Go right, avoid Neckies and you'll see the Kremling Kannon. Wait for him to shoot a slow cannonball. Follow it to the left using web platforms quickly and the cannonball will destroy the wall.
- Same procedure but this time you have a ground to stand on. It's the spot where there are two hills guarded by two Kaboings facing left and right each. Wait for the Kannon to shoot a cannonball and follow it to the left. It will destroy the wall.
Kreepy Krow
Krow is back and he wants revenge! Now he is a ghost and the eggs that he was guarding in Gangplank Galleon finally hatched! Those ghostly baby Neckies are vulnerable. When you spot a common looking Necky (those are the ones who are not ghostly), bop on him quick and a barrel will appear. Carry the barrel and bash it to the ghostly birdbrain. He will screech and wait for you in the second area of his haunted tower. Cling on the hooks and climb on the rigging. When climbing, press left or right to avoid the falling eggs. There's a DK Barrel on the left. Climb upwards until you reach the second area. He will call his ghostly babies to attack you. Stomp on the common Necky. Grab the barrel and throw it to Kreepy Krow. He will be stunned and fly up to the top of his tower. Climb on the riggings again (this time, the rigging is not wide). Avoid the eggs that drop on you. Avoid also the eggs that move across the screen horizontally. It's fast this time. Once you're in the tower, babies will defend Kreepy Krow. They swoop fast now. Defeat the common Necky. Grab the barrel that appears and wait for Kreepy Krow to attack you (he is darn fast!). Just hold the barrel and he will hit it. Krow will explode into sparkling stars and he is gone for good and he won't haunt your lives anymore
