Krool's Keep


Finally! You're now in Krool's Keep but the terrain and traps are still on the way. Krool's old crumbling castle is loaded with dastardly traps, unsuspected surprises and of course, it's heavily guarded by nasty Kremlings who wants to put you back where you came from. You'll feel that you're in top of the world but the Kremlings will put you down for sure.

Arctic Abyss

The first danger in this part of the island are the deep frozen caverns. Dive into the freezing waters of Arctic Abyss. Enguarde will lend a helping hand or possibly a helping fin. For more fun and challenge, don't transform into Enguarde. It's a cheat too! Try slipping underneath the Enguarde Barrel. If you don't transform, it's possible to the get hard to reach items like DK Koin or bananas. But normally, you can use Enguarde to reach these items. Try using super-stab when you come to a horizontal stretch of water. This'll help you reach certain places before the water recedes

DK KOIN

-After getting the Continue Barrel, proceed and swim upwards until you see the water ends at the top. Use super stab and you will dash quickly while the water recedes. You will get the DK Koin

2 Bonus Barrels

  1. After getting Enguarde, proceed until you see two bananas floating below the cavern ceiling. Use the super-stab and destroy the wall.
  2. After getting the letter "G", proceed and swim down the narrow shaft and swim through the wall on your right. The second hidden Bonus Area is in here

Windy Well

You're back in the mines but this time it's too windy. Unlike Gusty Glade, Windy Well is also a windy stage but the wind allows you to fly in the air. It's pretty tough since you have to avoid flying Zingers, flying hooks, and cannonballs. The wind has a pattern. Try to study it

DK KOIN

- Under the platform that is directly above the [N]. After the [N], pass some Zingers, some Krooks, and then two groups of moving Zingers. After leaving their platform, hold "right and down" on the control pad to float under the next platform to the coin
  1. Get the letter "O" and fly until you reach the first platform after that spot. Fly to the left side of the screen and you'll find the Bonus Barrel
  2. There's a platform underneath the exit target. Go to the lower platform and you'll be Klobbered by Klobber. Defeat him and use his Barrel to bash the Kutlass who is blocking the Bonus Barrel

Castle Crush

Traps are everywhere in the castle even this whole stage itself is a booby trap. The floor rises and the goal here is to avoid getting squashed by the ceilings that recedes. Avoid the Zingers too and the Krooks who were cleverly put behind walls so you can't harm them. Rambi is hidden somewhere and so is Squawks. Grab the very first DK Barrel starting from the start. Just hold on to it until you see a Kutlass on your left. Bash the Kutlass with the Barrel and go left to transform into Rambi. To find Squawks, Destroy the Continue Barrel and go to the left of the DK Barrel. Go through the wall and you'll transform into Squawks

DK KOIN

- Get Squawks and fly to the top very fast. If you see the no animal sign or if you see the letter "N", fly down quickly and grab the DK Koin before the floor covers it up

2 Bonus Barrels

  1. Get Rambi first. If you see an arrow formed by bananas pointing to the left wall, use super charge and bust the wall open
  2. Get Squawks. If he reaches the no animal sign, he'll transform into a TNT Barrel. Use the TNT Barrel and destroy the wall on your left. It will lead you into the Bonus Area

Clapper's Cavern

Back into the frozen caverns! Long time no see Clapper and uh… long time no see Snapjaw! Both of them are back. Clapper this time will freeze the water allowing you to walk, skate, slide, or dash across the deadly waters! Snapjaw, the fishy who wanted to turn you into dinner is back and hungrier than ever! Enguarde will help you too but for a few moments only. Slide under Zingers while travelling from one platform to another. There's a Hidden invincibility Barrel disguised as a banana at the ceiling after getting the letter "N", Get that and swim in the water and get all the goodies before it runs out

DK KOIN

- After exiting the first Bonus Stage, you will be transported in a hidden room. Above you is the letter "K". Get the "K" using team throw. You'll cling in a hook and you'll see the DK Koin

2 Bonus Barrels

  1. At the beginning, team throw upwards and you'll find a path filled with Klampons and Spiny. Proceed until you find an opening to the first bonus area
  2. Get Enguarde and proceed. Swim to the farther left of the no animal sign. Once you reach the far end, use super stab and break the right wall guarded by the Puftup

Chain Link Chamber

Enter this part of the castle and you'll find lots of riggings and chains. Climbing is the only way to exit this stage. Expect more Zingers than you can imagine and expect more Klingers climbing and sliding. This stage is long and it takes lots of practice to finish if you're an inexperienced player though. There are two fake walls in this level

DK KOIN

-Frustrated because you can't find the well hidden DK Koin? Reach the area where you have to climb and avoid the raining cannonballs blown by Kannon. If you spot a single dangling banana, jump to through the right side wall and you'll find a letter "N" and a DK Koin

2 Bonus Barrels

  1. Defeat the first Krook. This Krook is on your right side. After defeating Krook, go right and you'll see a Cannon. Go back to the rope and lure the second Klobber out of his tunnel. Defeat him and go in the tunnel. Carry the Cannonball and go to the spot where you defeated the Krook and chuck the Cannonball in the Cannon.
  2. Frustrated again? You can see the opening to the Bonus Area but it looks impossible to reach. Go to the spot where Kannonballs are raining down on you. After that torture, go to the right end and climb up on the rope a little bit. Jump through the wall on your left into the fake wall. The Kannons who were trying to blast you with their Kannonballs are in here and it's about time to stop them! Go to the opening and it'll take you to the Bonus Area

Toxic Tower

This stage is tough! You must scale the tower away from the rising toxic pool. The ooze will consume your lives so climb away quickly. Rattly, Squitter, and Squawks will help you escape from the poisonous ooze. If you're Rattly, use super jumps if it's required to do so. If you're Squawks, there are some secret shortcuts and fake walls hidden here so search carefully and quickly. If you're Squitter, use web platforms quickly to get to the top. Run past the exit target, and the toxic will recede. Drop down the gap and grab the 2-up on the right

DK KOIN

- Along the way, you'll see a letter "A" formed by bananas. You'll see a couple of thin platforms. After the last thin platform, you'll see a Zinger blocking the gap. Bounce on him and drop down the gap and get the DK Koin. Hop in the Barrel Cannon to return in the main path

1 Bonus Barrel

  1. After you spotted Squitter, walk to the right end and use web platforms to go up the top. You'll see a Zinger on your right blocking a fake wall. Shoot him and crawl into the tight tunnel into the only Bonus Barrel

Stronghold Showdown

Congratulations! You have found your buddy Donkey Kong! Yahoo! Wipeee! Laughters of Joy! We're together again! We are going to show Krool what three of us can do. He's no match for the… Huh? Donkey Kong! Where are you now? Hey come back! Come back! Looks like the reunion is cancelled. It looks like Krool wanted to fight the youngsters! Uh-oh!
